I have to admit to putting it in my tree in the off-season as I hunt deer in season and it is ilegal in Virginia during the season. I do wonder if the raccoon scent deturs the deer a bit? Good video.

I hang one near my cabin and I go through one jar a week. I get Skippy at Dollar General. My deer love it and we love watching them while in the cabin.

I've tried this same thing with a game camera to photograph what animals are the PB. I found out it was mostly squirrels and possums.

In Virginia sweet feed does not work good but those blocks made at souther states work they have corn in them. Deer cane works good and corn. But if acorns are on the ground that’s there first meal 😊

Later in the season when there craving protein they will most likely hit it

I see deer pass up attractants everytime to eat plain corn. The only thing I've seen them pass up corn for is rackmaker and they prefer it over anything all year long.

I guess a few years ago nobody cared about rope safety but I can tell you a simple overhand knot for a stopper is very unsafe. You want catch any SAR Tech or climber doing that.
