Matt, I truly believe that the energies you expelled to the lake and maintained was the key to this masterpiece of a fishing chapter in your illustrious book that is TacticalBassin. Please integrate more videos with you narrating If possible. The pure audio in this moment is absolute bliss. Thanks for taking us along
@@kylemattix5561 Bingo. Big fish hunters know, trust, and believe whole heartedly in that. It's a common theme you can notice with all trophy bass hunters. Especially shallow water. I honestly don't think its AS big a deal in deeper water, 20 plus feet. But that's just an opinion of mine. Alot of the old school big bass hunters didn't even have graphs on there boat, not even a flasher. Hell most I've seen fish out of 12 or 14 jon boats. Have 1 or maybe 2 boxes of tackle 3 or 4 rods and they catch big monster, above average fish all the time. There was 2 old men on my home lake that everybody laughed at, why idk because they straight up whipped everybody's ass 8 out of 10 times. They fished in a Jon boat. They had 2 rods a piece. Had a 25 hp evinrude on boat. And a hand tiller trolling motor. They would never leave sight of the ramp in night tournaments we fished. They fished mainly 4 points within sight of ramp every frigging week man. They threw big 3/4 ounce football jigs, and a carolina rig with a big lizard or an ol monster worm. Both black. I asked em one night. They showed me everything they used. They had box with hooks and weights, and bags of plastics. And box of jigs. Box had wrote on it 3/4 ounce jigs. All were either black, black and blue, or brown. They had a few black buzz baits hanging inside the boat, they told me they used them when they could hear fish busting on bank but only if they thought they was big. Idk they could been lying. But won't like they had anywhere to hide tackle in the boat. But they won so many tournaments it won't funny. And if for some reason they didn't win, I never seen a time they didn't have big fish. Not a graph one on that boat. They could catch em. That's for sure
Terrific video Matt! Don’t you just love it when you stop to explain your retrieve, and you get nailed on the same cast. It doesn’t get any better than that!
My God, the time this guy puts in each of his videos. Never seen so much detail in the description. This is how you get viewers. Thank you for posting!!!
In all my years of fishing I can count on one hand these kinds of days. Few and far but they are truly a gift! Love it Matt. Awesome content and narrating! 🤙🏼
Man what a day! Love the unedited with a little voice over. The only thing better than watching TacticalBassin is being on the water doing my own fishing!
I have a couple of things to share. First I love this style video with the voice over. Tim did one a couple of months back & it's like turning on the directors commentary on a DVD you enjoy. Second- You guys have such great content & are great teachers. I started watching years ago & I remember you talking about your goal of getting to 100K subscribers. Look at it now 412k subs! I'm happy for you guys. The only person who isn't such a fan is my wife... complaining about boxes from Tackle Warehouse, LOL
I can't believe they don't have more subs honestly. At least 500,000. Should be a million in my opinion. Bunch of other guys with so called fishing channels, that pond fish, and talk alot got way more subs. Nothing wrong with that if that's what your into BUT.
I just experienced this same day of fishing yesterday on a small local lake. Non-stop bites on a Chatterbait. Best 5 went for 24.5lbs with Big Bass of 6.25lb. Awesome videos and keep it up, I'm constantly learning from you guys!
I love these long videos so much. Allows me to listen and watch while i get other things done while having something on in the background! keep up the great work guys!
Omg!!! Great job Matt! 💪You freaking killed it! 🎣 Great video! Thanks for the awesome content! #1 Tactical Bassin fan for life! You and Tim are the coolest 😎💜
Awesome videos you both are putting out! and man definitely an EPIC day for a weekend warrior or Pro! The 7 thumbs down are just upset because they think a blade bait is their favorite rooster tail paired up with their Zebco 33 rough rhino.
Found your channel searching for smallmouth videos really great stuff one can tell by the views. That at times isn't a tell all but ya'll have just great content.
Love the narration! I also like the clean deck, only a few rods out not 20 like some "Pros" . Their deck is so busy they have no room to land a fish and have to go sit in the drivers seat.
I don't know a lot about fishing, only rod and reel line and hook catch clean and cook fish for dinner is all I do. river, creeks, ponds, anywhere in our good us of a.
Being the type of guy I am… I’d have to try a couple of top water bait cast too… just for a few possible blowups… have you ever caught so many you actually got tired of landing them? Fortunate I have and that was my epic day on the water… have fun. I do enjoy you videos and your tutorials… thanks BigFishRick/Florida Rick, now in KY.
Tell me hes not wearing SLIPPERS while fishing LMAO Flip flops when its warm and slippers when its cold. Do you even own a pair of ACTUAL SHOES? Maybe I will try wearing slippers and playing with my cell phone next time out. Fishing lessons from Matt & Tim, slippers or flip flops and a cell phone=LOTS OF FEESH!!!! Love these kinds of videos.
Funny that Matt mentions the phone in hand thing, anyone who has followed him for a few years has witnessed it. I swear his winning pattern if he fished professionally would be to have his phone in his hand. 😂
Awesome video. Mind sharing depth and water conditions? Sorry if u shared in video and i missed it, I took your advice and skipped to the highlights lol
@@tacticalbassin Hey i see that you backed your line down to 65lb on the glide rod. Is that what you prefer for treble baits? and 80lb for jig hook? or just changing it up?
Awesome video! Just wanted to let you know I cought my pb on Sunday using a 3.8 keitech on a matt tactical swim head learned how to fish it from your videos, it weighed 6.6 thanks a lot for your info!!🎣🎣
Fished a few tournaments out of my kayak early on in my tournament career when a friend of mine noticed I was fishing out of only one side of the boat and wasn't getting anything. He hollered over to me fish the other side of the boat! I fish the other side of the boat and started catching! If you only fish one side of the boat you're only doing half the job! Fish both sides! If you're reading this Harry thank you!
I've had a handful of days like this I remember the first time I actually put a pattern together was with a small 1.5 craw colored crank I caught 27 10-14in bass not bigguns like these but from a 1 acer pond I was pretty happy

I love these long edits. Just pure fishing.
Thanks Josh 🎣
Matt, I appreciate what you all do to help educate people like me who want to learn more about bass fishing. Thanks to you and Tim both.
Long day at work... finally home... time to watch some fishin and relax ! 😅🔥🔥👍🏼
I hope, at least once in my life, I can have an epic day like this. Thanks for taking us along Matt!!
My man hasn't even turned on the electronics up front. GOAT
I bet he had fished and graphed that cove enough before to know the contour by heart.
I know. Right ?
Has them off to reduce disturbance in the area he's fishing
