The EASIEST Way To Catch MORE BASS!! Chatterbait, Spinnerbait, Crankbait Trick!

- Matt catches a ton of fish while demonstrating how the early morning hours can be incredible with a spinnerbait, lipless crankbait, and chatterbait. He teaches as he goes so you can learn to use these baits as a system to maximize your time while bass are moved up for the shad spawn, and he does it all before breakfast! In the early morning hours the bass are patrolling shallow water in schools, searching for a meal. Any of these lures can catch those fish but there is a trick! By hitting the fish in quick succession and switching quickly between pre-rigged baits, you can keep a school of aggressive fish fired up for long periods of time. The key is continued action... if you let up, the fish will quit.
This method works for small fish, big fish, and huge numbers of fish. If you're not getting out early and targeting schooling bass, you're missing some of the most intense action of the year! This was one of the best fishing videos I’ve seen in quite some time, and I’ll tell you why. First off you didn’t edit out all of the short strikes and losses. Secondly when you did lose a fish you didn’t do what every other TH-cam fisherman would have done and say it was a 7 pounder. Lastly it was just a simple video of a fisherman out having fun on the water doing what he loves to do while providing helpful tips and information to other anglers. So with that being said, job well done!....oh and I wonder how many other people who watched this noticed how careful you was being not to make noise when setting down your dip net. 👍🏼🎣

Matt - great video. Love the videos where you guys give specific details about where you are fishing and why ( not just fish catches). Especially enjoyed the use if map on unit as a visual aid. I am an experienced angler, but the more I learn about this sport the more I am convinced that it I can fish right baits and equipment in wrong area with poor results. All about fishing the right areas even if using wrong baits - the result is better. All the said - lot to learn about finding the right areas with limited time on water. Thanks for sharing.

You're right about the RT Scale Minnow. Overlooked. We brought out so many solid colors that RT Scale Minnow often gets missed. That's also one of Alex Davis' favorite colors.

Great video! I mainly pond fish and the jackhammer was my biggest confidence bait. I wanted to try the fire craw once I’ve seen the crosseyez chatterbait in stock. The crosseyez chatterbait has taken over for me as a pond fisherman. It comes through vegetation so well and starts up just as fast. Not to mention it’s almost half the price. What’s your guys thoughts on the crosseyez chatterbait?!

hi matt this is a weird question how does that aluminum boat handle with the ultrex cuz I know how heavy they are compared to a non spot lock trolling motor? i have a 1989 champion 17'8" and i thought it would be to much weight up front or maybe I'm just over thinking it? thanks again for all awesome videos love night ones idk if you guys will do those soon❤️☝️🙏
Matt, why don’t you use a trailer hook on your spinner baits if you are getting short strikes? I almost always use trailer hooks on my spinner baits especially depending on the size of the bottom blade unless I’m fishing near wood. Love the channel btw

Sometimes when I'm missing a bunch on the lipless I'll just burn it and it seems to make them commit. Maybe not in very low light though.

Does this work on fisheries that don’t have shad? Most of the ponds and lakes that I fish only have bluegill
The biggest bass I’ve caught often come as I’m popping out of those weeds. They freaking love that.
Any reason why the chatterbait was prioritized last? Guessing the spinner and lipless are the better shad imitations.
