During the heli feedback thread it was confirmed that they are aiming to address the persistent flight assist issue, so soon it'll hopefully be a lot easier to aim with precision while strafing side to side and while aiming down :)

awesome video! i think what people have trouble with the most is the movement and aiming and muscle memory, would you consider making a jett guide next? would be super helpful, i heard people use keybinds changes and camera changes but the info is very vague so a guide would be amazing!
That's certainly on my list of videos to make, I do have an older one here on the channel if you search 'jet guide' but I'd like to do an updated version post 5.0
It'd be nice of them to bring back the inertial sights we had in BF3 and BF4
I’ve gotten to love the Nightbird. I equip mine with 20mm cannons and AGMs as you said. I concentrate on vehicles and I’ll get the occasional pesky sniper or engineer as an outlier trying to get me. Using the restricted and moderate xp portal servers has helped a ton to get adjusted to handling the nightbird.
How do you think the night bird tactics will change with the new wildcat aa and the addition of aa to other transport vehicles?
How about settings? Do you have inverted piloting (default) and 70 piloting sense (also default)? And do you fly with mouse or keyboard only?
On controller its almost impossible to try and accurately aim in helicopters, thanks to the horrendous input stutter.
(if you dont know what that is, with many vehicles in 2042 the aim and movement controls on gamepad will lag or stutter depending on game/server performance, often times not registering input at al, or with a half second delay.)
Do you play on old gen by chance?
That and the terrible response curve make it difficult
@@Definitely-not-the-FBI ive tried the game on xbox one, xbox series x and pc and its a issue on all three.
Im primarily a tank/vehicle player, so the fact i cant even enjoy driving vehicle's in 2042 is the main reason i dont play the game.
I legit dont get how they went from BFV, which had _the_ best controller settings out of any BF game, to 2042 wich cant even get aiming and turning right.
@@SPITSPHIRE don’t get me wrong, I fully agree & know what u mean, Im a vehicle main too, but I did notice a slight improvement when going from ps4 to ps5, but yeah it’s not even close to bf4 controls which were peak imo, I still can’t fly jets/heli’s on bf2042 nearly as good as I could on bf4. I guess I just got used to the delay & learned to live with it cuz I’m yearning for another good modern setting battlefield. TV input lag is a factor too.
@@Definitely-not-the-FBI You notice how on last gen, the tanks don't get the full reticle on their main gun? PS4 and Xbox One only get a circle in the center of the screen whereas, PS5, Xbox Series and PC get the full reticle (circle in the center with three lines on either side for range finding)

I used to play the scout heli on console bf4, on this game its basically impossible
They nerfed this thing so bad and since launch i swear the miniguns have the worst hit detection in the game
I use the 20 that i unlocked recently and i am trying to unlock agms but i only use it with bots to farm in normal servers i use jets 😂

The one thing that annoys me most about the nightbird is that damn crosshair with the miniguns. Like why cant i get the same one as for the 20mm cannons, that shows me where my shots will land over a short distance... No i get a circle that has absolutely no meaning😢

@@karaboga5984 So did the Nightbird lol. I die a lot more to the stealth than the little bird. The lethal blast radius on those bombs is still massive

Don't use hdr, it ruins visibility in almost every game. Hdr, vignette, chromatic aberration and motion blur are the settings you should always turn off when starting a new game
They always nerf heli and jets 😢 they should stop it, air support should be the strongest after all 😢
They shouldn't have changed the flight mechanics it doesn't make any sence, either they bring back bf4 flight mechanics or make toggle switch between the new one and the old one.
This thing was so great originally. The nerf of all weapons will eventually lead EA with no other options but to have 2042 pillow fights. People would still complain about the pillows.
I just go owned by a nightbird 3 games in a row and and dice can eliminate as far as I’m concerned.🤪. Still too op and almost impossible to take down.
JUST A TIP DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IF YA ON CONSOLE THERES LITERALLY NOT ENOUGH BUTTONS TO SUPPORT THE GAME 🤷♂️
Next time can you explain how to get out of 1v1 heli when the other heli comes out of nowhere and has a higher altitude
