If you really wanted a gt3 maybe that guy could make you one from a boxster :) if you have seen that on the web?
Does it take you a long time to get dressed in the morning ? Should I wear the blue or black trousers , well , if I wear a red shirt ... now to the shoes , white slip ins or brown Italian , oh dear , I’m already 30 minutes late for work . Don’t take offence , I’m hearing myself in everything you say . I must buy my wife some flowers ! Actually , I daily a 991.2 gt3 . Somehow , I never quite feel satisfied unless I purchase the best that I can afford . You’ve got a nice car there. Now DRIVE IT !!! .. and don’t look back .
Satch, I am a big fan of yours, love the channel and your approach (not a hater). But..... I think the GT3 itch will cloud ownership until you make it happen, which I predict will happen within 18 mths max. You have been there with a 991 before, no amount to wheel changes or bucket seats will make it a GT3.. Bite the bullet now, I won't say told you so..lol 😎😎
991.1 IMO will go down in history as one of the best 991s
Something tells me the 991 would be for sale after a year or so with lack of use. The 997 is so irresistible.
It’s a really nice car 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 not Sure about BOTB I’ve tried it so many times and can’t see how the winners win a few times when I’m basically in the same sport so I think hmmmmm somethings wrong I’ll give it a miss and their judging is not run by Ai it’s subjective and flawed
WTH is with these GT3's and 4's... Don't get it. Buy a Aircooled one and ride with style. The watercooled are all the same...

Great car! The PDK is like driving a car using the force😂. I drove a 17 plate cayman turbo S pdk, I don’t like autos in general but it was amazing the throttle blip and downshifts are perfectly timed! There is not a better gear box in my opinion. Ps I still like manuals!.
Finally able to see the 991! Lovely car, have a 991.1 Carrera with 40k miles on it and all the options in the same colour as well! Congratulations and enjoy it!
Any news on the Cayman? Would be interested in that.

I have a 2009 997.2 Carrera S in same colour and specs including Sports Chrono. I was a little put off with the 991 because of the larger size. Thoughts??
As always great video Satch! Tell us what extras your car has and what you would like to upgrade on it. Also does it skip and judder when your turning slowly on full lock? That’s one thing I hate in my car! Also a comparison on like for like PDK v Manual for 991.1 please! Look forward to it in your future videos.
I have the same car, a 2012 991.1 C2S, bought this year with a couple of mods, and lots more recently going on. I look forward to comparing notes with you. It joins a 2016 Panamera Turbo with 700 bhp, and a 2017 Macan S with a tune and bigger intercoolers.

Wow, this is the same car I own right down to the color. Only difference is your steering wheel is on the other side.
I think you kind of answered your own question. Your analysis as to why you purchased the 991 sounded logical given your circumstances. Once that decision is made, don't second guess. Good job and nice ride!!
Congrats on the 991 Satch. Fully get what you mean about that GT3 - its far easier spending someone else’s money hence the suggestion in the last video 😜.
Will you do any videos on the new daily? I noticed the plate that was on the Cayenne has gone on the 991 and correct me if i am wrong but that looks likes a BMW 1 series interior when you were heading towards the garage? 😀.

I wish I could be in a position where I could take some advantage of the pandemic and buy myself a bargain 911 or a Cayman/Boxter, but, unfortunately, not enough margin right now. I wish you all the best and looking forward for the next videos on that car. By the way, what video camera are you using? Stunning picture quality for just 1080p and great autofocus as well!
Brand new subscriber here in the US. Your content is right in my wheelhouse, as my start to purchasing a 991 has started. The points you made were very good regarding the GT series. Desirable but practical for my life? Perhaps not. So I am searching, Nationwide, for a C4S, year not determined.

Try a manual 997.2 with a X51 power kit - nothing comes even close when it comes to driving experience and a small nimble 911 unlike the battleship size cars they build today ..

The S is a great car!! Instead of the GT3 I purchased a C4 GTS with the Aero Cup 2 kit!! Looks like a GT3 but rides way better!!
I currently have 3 Porsches including a GT3, GT4 and Carrera S Cabrio. Each one is special. My advice is buy the best one that you can afford with the money and drive it every day.
Which model of QuickJack do you have holding up the 997? Also do you recommend?

I was on track with a 991.2 GT3 RS and the instructor had to keep asking me if I was having fun. I was like, "Bro, I'm buzzing from my head to my feet, I just suck at smiling."

Yes you did and when you 've lived out your life one of the greatest regrets you will have is not buying a GT3/4 when you had the means to do so. By the way the GT cars do not depreciate like the "normal" Porsche models do.
