Yeah thanks for the unboxing. I wanted to see if it’s worth it and to me, it’s not… lol. The clamshell case and that part was cool and like you said, I’d just buy that. The shadow box is cool but not worth it imo. The rest of the stuff I have no interest in.
I’m happy just the game collection .. the other stuff… not so much

I ordered this as a lifelong Castlevania fan but it’s still not scheduled to arrive for another week 😖. I have to say while the Shadow Box and plastic Game case look nice they really phoned it in on the rest of the CE contents and flimsy outer box given the high price. I think I’ve finally given up on expecting quality LRG CE contents 😔
Glad I got the PS4 edition because everyone bought the Switch version.
Opened mine today as well, 100% worth it as a massive Castlevania fan. I want to play them equally to displaying the CE and this has to be one of the best CE to display ever made.

What do mean what else do you need???? No Sharp x68000 Akumajō Dracula, No PS1 Castlevania Chronicles, No PC Engine Akumajō Dracula X: Chi no Rondo. Those are are all Konami IP’s. They could have done this easily. Instead they release 2 separate collections (this one and Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood )at the same time to squeeze all the money they possibly can out of the fans that keep them relevant.They owe it to us, the fans, to make these games accessible and affordable. This collection is awful. 200 bucks for what??? A bunch of books and pictures. This would have been cool for maybe $30. There just old ROMS. And now there doing the same thing with gradius. Please guys….stop supporting these outrageous collection prices. I’m all for the preservation of computer gaming culture and history but at what cost. This is ridiculous. Thank God for emulation

I received this as well and I am quite happy with it. The black plastic bar can be used on the clamshell. If you put it in there in similar way as the one already installed the game can be put into this shell more safely.
