    You don't have to take the wiring loom off the computer,,,just leave it on,,If you unscrew the top of the air box off the whole lot including the loom computer and top of air box lifts and you can just flip it to one side,,

    Can someone tell me, after doing this, do we start the car at 2500 and 3000 rpm where it stops, or should we drive the car on the highway?

      If you're using the DPF cleaner, according to the instructions start the engine and idle for 15 mins, then increase RPM to 2500-3000 for 30 mins while stopped or on highway driving whichever suits. If you're just replacing the sensor you don't need to do that. Just need to clear the code with a scan tool.

      Scan the computer again to see what codes come up and go from there.

      ​@@mr.arassuil7890​​ You said you changed the cables, have you checked the voltage on the connection pins for good ground and signal? If it's OK then problem could be the DPF is completely blocked in my opinion. You will need a professional scan tool to check the DPF Pressure and do a force regen, DPF cleaning and then calibration as well. This is just my opinion but would suggest have a professional check it. Good luck mate

    Your better off just plugging the computer back in and run the car like that ,,You'll have no problem and the car will run just fine,,by putting everything back together before even running the cleaning fluid through the engine,,If you run into a problem your going to have to take everything back apart again,,Also after doing a cleaning of a blocked dpf you will have to recalibrate the emissions computer,,And tell the car it has a new dpf fitted,,The best YT channel to watch for all things dpf related ,,including this 2.2 mercy engine is O RIELLYS AUTO,,

      Thanks for the advice. However, my car didn't have a blocked dpf, just needed a new dpf pressure sensor. I did dpf cleaning as an extra measure to aid in dpf regen since it has over 128k miles. So it didnt need recalibration. I took the car on a good long run both local and highway after the fix and the car runs smooth and no further issues.
