Was driving my Mercedes-Benz E Class Estate and noticed loss of power especially on higher gears despite flooring the accelerator. There was a check engine light and upon scanning the computer the scanner picked up Codes P2454 & P244A. In my w211 i actually have to pull it up it wont push to left anymore until i pull up, very weird the changed it

@@cyrilmatthew2995thats cool, here in the UK I've only seen the E Class E250 (W212) and C class i think C250 diesels to have the manual transmission.

ty... i have driven all models of manual transmission HONDAS forever. BUT, just got my Mercedes 2011 c class 300 yesterday. And the manual transmission reverse was throwing me ..did not want to shove it too much..after this video!!!!!!!!!!!VOILA! ty!

Your better off just plugging the computer back in and run the car like that ,,You'll have no problem and the car will run just fine,,by putting everything back together before even running the cleaning fluid through the engine,,If you run into a problem your going to have to take everything back apart again,,Also after doing a cleaning of a blocked dpf you will have to recalibrate the emissions computer,,And tell the car it has a new dpf fitted,,The best YT channel to watch for all things dpf related ,,including this 2.2 mercy engine is O RIELLYS AUTO,,
Thanks for the advice. However, my car didn't have a blocked dpf, just needed a new dpf pressure sensor. I did dpf cleaning as an extra measure to aid in dpf regen since it has over 128k miles. So it didnt need recalibration. I took the car on a good long run both local and highway after the fix and the car runs smooth and no further issues.

You don't have to take the wiring loom off the computer,,,just leave it on,,If you unscrew the top of the air box off the whole lot including the loom computer and top of air box lifts and you can just flip it to one side,,

Is manual better than auto? I am tempted to buy manual.
Both auto and manual are good transmissions. It just deepends on your driving style and which transmission best suits i.e engaging with the car with manual or relax and drive with auto. With autos make sure there has been regular transmission service and they can be good cars. I suggest you test drive both types and then make your decision .

I learned to drive on a manual ..and i find it is hard for me to drive an automatic..cuz i may try for the non-existant clutch and IT is the BRAKE!! ooops!!!!!!!!!!!!
