    I will be taking your trailer cutting course, for sure, but I really wish that you had a fundraising/pitch deck sizzle-cutting course! I'm working on a sizzle rn, and it's challenging as a long-form editor.

    • @FilmEditingPro
      @FilmEditingPro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Penny! Would love you have you in the course. Not to worry - the trailer techniques translate very well to sizzles/promos/pitches. We use them in all of our online ads and occasionally to spice up some of our training videos. They’re pretty versatile.

    Man I've been obsessed with each trailer since they've dropped them, and id sit there and study it, I'm almost done with yall's art of editing training program!! do we email you guys when we finish for our certificate? I appreciate this course so much as I have been in the creative field for 6 years, im 25 and finally found something new I enjoy! Good job breaking it down!

    • @ChristianCobainCC

    • @TyraGrayson
      @TyraGrayson ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @ChristianCobainNebuchadnezzar1 yes I did take it and I got a certificate yes! I'm gonna end up framing it. Definitely a good program it dives super deep intro trailer editing and what you need to know and should know. They are probaly the only people on the internet I know who dives ONLY into that particular thing. They go over action comedy horror sounds etc. It's great. A typical film school will touch on editing but not like them. I was searching for like 6 months then I kept seeing them and I was like ok ok I'll give it a go. Lol

    • @ChristianCobainCC
      @ChristianCobainCC ปีที่แล้ว

    Great trailer. As for the music, it was more than likely be part of the original film score or custom scored to fit the finished edit.
    Big budget films / trailer always have / get resources to go beyond the typical library music.

    What happen with min 7:39 ? Why you dint use your camara B to cover that cut.

    Sorry if this has been discussed before Chris, but did you switch from Avid to Premiere completely? And if so, can you please elaborate on the reasons a little bit? What are Premiere's main advantages in your opinion?

    • @FilmEditingPro
      @FilmEditingPro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! For internal work of TH-cam videos, lessons, promos etc, yes we’ve fully moved to Premiere. Primary reasons are faster importing of large amounts of footage compared to Avid and a robust integration with the rest of the Adobe suite, particular After Effects for graphics work.

    Does the studio provide the entire movie for the trailer editor or just certain clips?

    • @FilmEditingPro

      Typically the full movie at various stages of rough cut, occasionally dailies/rushes but that’s less common.

    I purchased one of the courses from you and I am interested in purchasing the Premier course for beginners as well but the price is high and on the tenth of the month I will receive a salary and if the price is 197$ instead of 297$ I would be happy to purchase - the truth is that after I purchased one of your courses this offer appeared but the credit card was already full and on the tenth of the month I can buy but I want at a more normal price - if it is possible I would be happy
