Another cracking video, well done. The commitment and determination you have is amazing! I like the lane you called "The gate of many lanes"😂 That one looks 'do-able' on my 790?! (in the summer) Keep 'em coming, great to watch Grumps
@@grumpsrides42 thankyou trying to improve every rideout🙏 and especially thanks for giving us a mention on your channel! perhaps you would like to ride it with us??
@greenlaneduo Yep! Would you 2 like to try Claerwen Resevoir and Golf Links, near Rhayader, at some point? Both really easy lanes (by your level), but great views!
@@grumpsrides42 rhyader is almost 2hrs drive 1 way for us so its probably a ride to save for longer days towards spring praps rich said he's up for it.
First one is called chapel lane and the one with gates always known as 9 gate lane but every time you count the gates everyone gets a different number 👍😂
@@kirky4505 ahhhh chapel lane thanks....we have always named it bethlehem my dreaded lane and for a novice like me i dont know which is worse going down or up! And the other lane i think the farmer said 12 gates but theres gates missing now so that counts changed lol.
@kirky4505 if its the same farmer we are on good terms with him but i know he has hassle with gates left open and folk not sticking to the path a lott so i can understand his side too .there are some videos on our channel of us taking time to talk with him. I dont suppose any land owner would choose a byway going through their property but it is what it is and open to public as a right of way.
@ he had hassle someone had ridden on his fields which isn’t acceptable but blaming the first bikes you meet is not conductive to good cooperation , we have all respected the lanes including that one and make sure gates are left exactly as we find them , ride safe 👍
Another wet, arduous and gatetastic ride. Well done Siân. Looked like a very ancient route with the green moss all over the drystone walls. 👍🏼
@@stevenrees4307 thanks steve🙋♀️.yes very old byways donkeys years old 1st one's a lott steeper than the gopro shows.
Struggling is just another word for learning. Great video. You guys are awesome.

Allow yourself infinite slack when learning. Every time you push through the fear and send it, is a step closer to whizzing along (beast mode) 😀

Carry a silky saw for the trees
@@PaulBissekerBushcraft he had a hand saw .that tree was a bit much lol
Bet you needed the lemon slice after all that pushing!
@@malcolmstewart3109 🤣🤣🤣 slippery/steep lane lots of momentum needed which i lacked! Will keep going back to conquer it 😬

Beware the farmer he can be an odd one at times , had a run in with him he had a bad attitude or he was just grumpy that day 😂
