A ride in the dry Siân? How in hell did you manage to look down at that moment and spot your boot strap!!! Spooky 😂 Don’t worry about the swearing, #*!@%#* I’ll say a prayer for him in Chapel this Sunday 😇😂.
Chance in a million steve!😀 and stayed dry all day 😉❄️☁️🌥 say a prayer in chapel for me too 😅🫢😄👍

Bloody good video this one!! Some very good lanes! A good watch!! 👌👌
@@ALL_4_WHEELS thanks for watching adam 😀👌
Great videos! Fowling of the plug was happening quite few times on my son’s Husky TE150 when he was still learning. Turns out he wasn’t ✊🏼 revving it enough to burn off the 2 stroke oil. So now when we go out, he every now and then gives it a proper blip and rev of the throttle to clear it out. Hasn’t had an issue since 💪🏼
@@Enduro_Dad_and_Lad yes same here but theyr fowling here even on cold starts we had to sort the plug 4 times before a ride out on one occasion .have tried many different ways and what you have also we are miffed . We are taking on board everyones advice incase its something we havnt tried.thanks so much for taking time to comment 😊👍
If you’ve got the throttle screw mod try turning your tickover up slightly. Or get the TSP head and map them. Great video.
@Chloerocks123 hi yep tried that too still fowls plugs 🤔i'll mention the mapping to rich later .thanks for taking time to watch😊
I'm not Welsh but every time I say Kidwelly I say it in a Welsh accent 😂. I suppose its how its supposed to sound. 😄 Great little outing that one and what a reward finding your boot strap. Chance in a million.
@@stevesvids i didnt shut up about it the rest of the ride! 😆 i remember loosing it in the kidwelly lanes last year but chances of getting on the bike and it being right there by my toe! .was a good outing that sunday few giggles along the way .thankyou for watching 😊👌
@greenlaneduo I once had similar luck finding my lost helmet cam. I walked the 10 mile stretch in which it was lost searching and searching. Then as I approached a low branch I remembered clipping my helmet at that spot.... and there she was, off in the bushes. 😊 Did you have any spark plug issues on this one?
@@stevesvidsohhh god lucky to find that camera! Bit more pricey than a boot strap lol🤭 mine oiled a plug starting from cold at least we can fix and carry on with riding its just a bit of a pain.
@greenlaneduo I misinterpreted your plug issue. I thought it was failing... but its fouling. A different issue. The oil isn't getting burned off. Im no 2 stroke expert but those engines like to be ripped wide open. You guys don't ride in that style so I would imagine the cylinder is running cold. The air to petrol ratio will make the engine run hotter or cooler. Perhaps you need to find someone to help you set that up. Also the oil ratio you use can be adjusted if you are not ripping that engine as it needs less to maintain piston lubrication. This will make it run slightly hotter too. Edit: Just reading up on tpi 2 stroke. I guess yours is tpi so oil mix is added automatically. I read that your warm up cycle is critical and to refer to your owners manual. The writer said with his tpi he let the bike idle without revving for 5 minutes. This stops excess oil delivery until hot.
@@stevesvids i'll show this to richard tonight as i'm no guru on mechanics lol . They do oil the plugs even when running full temp and when revv'd up.mine went recently just revving from 3rd to 4th on tarmac trying to keep up with richard. I'll point out your comment later on and appreciate any ideas or advice.he's even talked of changing bikes and getting shot of the huskies.
Thanks. This was great 💜

@@enduro_uk_rider will look into that too many thanks 😊
Another great video 👍 Fair play both, for getting out in this weather. Oiling up plug?! My limited knowledge of 2 strokes..... I know they like to rev!, they don't like low revs/slower engine speeds Maybe that's the cause? My suggestion, although, not cheap, perhaps look into 4 stroke bikes? May be more suited to your style of riding?!
@@grumpsrides42 hiya. Ahh thers no telling when they blow sometimes when cold and also when warmed up too mine went twice on yesterdays ride 1st time cold starting it and then 1/2 mile from home fully warmed up.even richards stumped and has lots knowlegde on bikes.he's not keen on all the electrics on them these days they cant be tinkered with/adjusted much cars too have gone the same.less electrics less to go wrong lol 🤭
@greenlaneduo oh yes, can't do sod all without a laptop! ☹️
@@grumpsrides42 hahaaa so true😆
Unsure what your problem is exactly with the plug?? Keeps failing?? I used to ride a sv650 race bike which had one of its cylinders with front facing plug. In the wet the recess for the plug would fill with water and the plug would fail and bike would be running 1 cylinder only. To get around it I just mass filled the recess, all around the plug, with red rubber grease and it fixed the issue. Maybe you have a similar issue?
@@stevesvids hi. I'll pass it on to rich .we have tried a few things but these two bikes have fowled plugs from new whether the bike runs cold or warmed up thers no telling when either will do it .we were told a few things so we tried some advice and still they do it .mine in fact did it yesterday riding home from the lanes ...bike was fully warmed and blew just 1/2 mile away from home. Bit frustrating so keen for any advice we havnt already tried.thanks so much for taking time to message😊
@greenlaneduo you're welcome. Most times a spark plug fails it is thermal shock from water or mud. Try experimenting by rigging up some form of cover for the plug area so it remains clean and dry on a ride. Its pretty rubbish when these things happen. With all design technology available to manufacturers they sure leave some weak fail points on their bikes. Another thought. Try a different plug brand if you haven't already. They do differ in their durability. Good luck. Steve Husky FE501 😎👊👍
@@stevesvids the plug has a rubber cover that sits on top keeping the plug clean maybe some dirt or water gets in? Richard did try some pricey plugs as opposed to the ones in the bike as standard and still the plugs fowl .it has richard stumped in trying to resolve the issue .he's almost got rid of the bikes a few times as its a real pain when the bikes cant be relied on .mine fowled the plug twice yesterday once when running cold and again when fully warmed up ...its a strange one. I'll show your message to richard later thankyou so much😊
@@greenlaneduoThe rubber cover can only do so much protection. Here's a thought. If it is water related, go out on a dry day riding tarmac only. Boring I know but go visit some places. If on a long fully dry ride no plug failure occurs then you're onto a possible cause. Keep me posted. 👊
@@stevesvids possible yeah🤔 as even though we ride on dry days we do go through water and mud every time .deffinately will show your comments to richard later anythings worth trying thanks steve 👌

First one is called chapel lane and the one with gates always known as 9 gate lane but every time you count the gates everyone gets a different number 👍😂
@@kirky4505 ahhhh chapel lane thanks....we have always named it bethlehem my dreaded lane and for a novice like me i dont know which is worse going down or up! And the other lane i think the farmer said 12 gates but theres gates missing now so that counts changed lol.
Beware the farmer he can be an odd one at times , had a run in with him he had a bad attitude or he was just grumpy that day 😂
@kirky4505 if its the same farmer we are on good terms with him but i know he has hassle with gates left open and folk not sticking to the path a lott so i can understand his side too .there are some videos on our channel of us taking time to talk with him. I dont suppose any land owner would choose a byway going through their property but it is what it is and open to public as a right of way.
