    Amazing DIY !! Ps how did you connect install the reverse camera on the Metallion ?

      Thank you, the camera is a wireless camera off amazon and only requires a power connection. Our battery is on the same side as the camera so was an easy connection.

    Very Nice, Hope this setup gives you many happy days of travel and camping. Would be nice to see what a final trip loadout would look like, and if possible weights 😉

    looks great, and very neat and functional. Just where did you find the lockable runners in SA? And whats that length?

      Hi Christopher, we bought online from Furnlock, we used the 9332 super heavy duty lock slides, rated to 180kg, 1016mm length.

    Looking very good, what is the GVM of the trailer when fully loaded?

    • @fooshadventure
      @fooshadventure  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for the positive feedback! The GVM is 750kg. With all the additions it leaves around +/- 300kg for camping equipment.

    Hi guys! Love the vid! Can you do a cost breakdown of what each step has cost you? Including the buy of the trailer itself please

      Hi Freddy, did a bit of digging, some of these prices are from 2020. The trailer with nose cone and delivery was +-R54000, full water system incl. Tank, pump, filter etc R7400, rack/rail system R4800, all the drawer systems R6300. The electrical system we had most parts from previous projects so don't have pricing on that.

    Very nice setup you have there. On the reverse camera, where did you purchase that and is it any good?

      It's a Yakry wireless backup system, from Amazon. It's OK serves its purpose, slower framerate update but works fine for our purpose.

    2 x 20l Jerry cans will double your Jimny's ranger with another 40 liters of petrol.
