We recently drove the Poor man's game drive. The road, turning left off the R343 from Kenton-on-Sea is not that bad. The road, turning right off the R343 from Kenton-on-Sea is eroded most of the way. It can now be descibed as a 4x4 route. It is a nice drive if you have a 4x4 or bakkie.

Great stuff. Nice video. Does the annex affect air flow and temperature inside the sleeping part (tent)?

If you opted to fit it on the roof of the car, will the annexures reach the floor, or it is purely for the trailer. Secondly do you think there is enough space on the floor to use it as additional sleeping space?

Looks nice and functional. But, also seems a bit 'finicky' to erect. Looking forward to seeing a 'tube after a good rain storm. The waves and undulations of the flysheet may not be great for good for effective draining of the rain water (?) Thanks for the info :-)

Looks fantastic. Don't have a Genie (maybe one day) working on a used Jurgens BT547 trailer which is light and can carry the camp stuff but would be lying if I said I wasn't thinking of doing something similar to this from a sleeping perspective. Looks like an amazing tent.

Did you look at the ikamp mini, and annex? Wouldn't it be easy buy? I love tho your simplicity and minimalist vibes.

Can the bonnet gas strut be refitted after the snorkel install or is it permanently deleted?

My shackles came with the bushings 🤷‍♂️

You over tightened that. I wouldn't be creating diy videos if you can't diy correctly.

How to stop the rattle...dont leave them on the vehicle to look cool, only put them on when actually needed

If you hand tighten them you can actually use them for a recovery without additional tools
