The Durango Silverton is an Icon train. I rode on it when I was a kid during a summer vacation there. And to see it in a winter video adds to it's glory. Thanks for another very nice video.
I traveled on “The Silverton” in the summer this year, and it’s hard to believe how the grass has turned yellow, the clouds gone, only sky blue, and snow and ice! Thanks for this Mike!
@railwaysfan I'm just going to say right now from experience, whenever you get the opportunity, DO IT! I visited the D&SNG in 2015.... ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! Even if you're not into trains, it's an amazing experience. I'd do that adventure again in a heartbeat! And hopefully I can soon to even get some better footage because, well... I was younger at the time, and the more you mature, the more the quality of your videos improve. LOL. A live and learn sort of thing.
Hi Mike: Cool train action from Durango: A sidebar note: My wife and her family are from Ouray, Colorado - North of Durango on the Million Dollar Highway. 🎅🏻 • Cheers from The Detroit & Mackinac Railway 🚂
Great footage Mike and always to your very high standard! The scenery through which the trains run is stunningly beautiful and majestic and the little trains just set it off to perfection. I really like the variety of rolling stock on the line which is maintained to a very high standard. Wishing you a very merry Christmas and a happy 2019 Mike, and keep the steam vids coming along. Hey Mike, I've seen a veterans unit on Norfolk Southern. Did you see the Erie Susquehanna heritage unit in your Norfolk Southern Trains video? I love your ending with the Metra train. Would you like to make a train compilation of Rochelle Railroad Park trains, Mike? That would be awesome.
Awesome, Mike. I want to create a TH-cam channel called Max's Midwestern BNSF Productions, featuring Amtrak Hiawatha, Empire Builder, Southwest Chief, Texas Eagle, California Zephyr, Illini and Saluki, Illinois Zephyr and Carl Sandburg, Missouri River Runner, BNSF, Canadian Pacific, KCS, Union Pacific, CSX, Norfolk Southern, Metra, Northstar Transit, South Shore Line, train excursions, heritage units, and more. I'll film in Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Toledo, Cleveland, Columbus, St. Louis, and others. My channel will also feature Peck Park, Rochelle Railroad Park, Fostoria Iron Triangle, Rondout, and more.

it's different between the flue gases of the whistle and flue gases of the chimney?
