Lovely composition. You mentioned that this is perfect for the beginner. I am guessing that a beginner is not going to notice that you wet your paper prior to this video. Also, the techniques you used should have some instructions and guidance for the beginner. Beginners that wanted to try your video might become frustrated and stop painting. Oh well, I am going to give this a try. I want some practice in scratching, lifting and tonal values. I like your style.
Thank you, I think you are right about some explanation for beginners, but for one thing, I did not made my paper wet before, it was dry, if I should have done that, I would have shown ofcource, I don't hold back, it's because of the big brush, it has a lot of paint and water in it, The white spots would not be white if the paper was completely wet. you have to do this on dry paper, I think it's a good excercise for a beginner, the best thing for a beginner is to first watch, observe and try, again and again, until you get the hang of it I did give some explanations in some videos.
