It’s been three years since I stepped away from my career, and inflation has certainly made it challenging to maintain the same lifestyle, especially when I was living in the city. Moving to the countryside has not only been more peaceful but also allowed me to manage my expenses better. Now that I have more time, I’ve discovered the joy of painting with watercolors, something I never had the chance to explore before. While it can feel a bit lonely since friends and family are still in their routines, expressing myself through art has made it easier to adapt to this new phase. Plus it’s a hobby that helps me stay mindful of my savings while still feeling fulfilled
I’m nearing retirement myself, and I had similar concerns. I started investing later than most, and just relying on ETF compounding wasn’t cutting it for me. After working with a financial advisor, I managed to restructure my investments and am now on track to retire with around $4 million. If I hadn’t sought advice, I doubt I’d be as confident in my plan right now
I’m in a similar boat, trying to figure out the best approach for my portfolio. How did you find your advisor? I feel like I need that kind of guidance
I usually steer clear of recommending specific people because financial needs are so personal. But I can say that working with Emily Ava Milligan has made a world of difference for me. I noticed her strategies are tailored to fit personal goals and make sense for different needs. It might be worth exploring to see if her approach resonates with you.
Such a good account of your life and changes. I understand my life has been up and down for the past thirteen years in my retirement. I have had heart issues, a stroke, many injuries from my propensity for falling. And I had a total shoulder replacement two months ago. I am so ready to try watercolors As soon as my body heals. God bless.
I'm not only happy of your approach to teaching ("paint with me" - no bs, no drama, no lies, no academism), but I'm also happy that you continously post on your channel! I wish you never stop, I watch your videos every time :)
Thank you. Beautiful.
Nice sharing. Get to see both painting process and how you use the jar of water and palette. I often wonder how water is used. Seems like the 'dirtied water' doesn't affect the colour mix. Does it?
❤ wow I just don't know where to start... the video itself is a pleasure to watch and absolutely relaxing. The follow along tutorial is great and absolutely inspiring. Your voice is very soothing and your hands are so beautiful and a pleasure to watch. Thanks a bunch for sharing your work with us 🙏🏻
First time viewer… I think it was a combination of the music and the drabness of the sky so I grabbed the play slider and fast forwarded it to nearly the end and was so impressed that I slid it back the other way to see the creation of the beautiful picture. I could do without the music, I had to mute it because it was making me fall asleep, maybe it’s also because I am under the weather. I plan on exploring a couple more videos before subscribing but that’ll have to wait for another day when I’m not so sick. Very impressed overall.
I really like how you focal pointed the lake with two hard edges....wedged between soft edged land and mountains. The 'blurred' ground adds a powerful Depth of Field effect as well. Well done Niaz.
I adore your voice overs!! Makes the process so much clearer and watching you paint while knowing your intentions is so much more interesting, for me personally! :)
I love how you explain things to us before you begin. You have a very soothing voice. Would you please explain what you are doing it as you paint. Your work is always beautiful 😊
WOAH ‼️ Why haven’t I seen you before now. 🤷🏻♂️ - I know I’ll learn a lot from your channel. Your style is different. I like it. ( I ESPECIALLY LIKE YOUR COLOURS!! ) Love the grey and greens. A whole painting with two colours and different tones. 💥 CRAZY GOOD‼️👏🏼 THANKYOU Brother.
New subscriber here! Thank you for this great tutorial. I always learn something about technique and tools from watching other artists. Can’t wait to try them out!
Why do watercolor artists splatter paint all over their finished projects? I don’t understand. It takes away from the reality of the overall piece. Where in the real world do you see spots all over the place? Maybe snowflakes or ice crystals, but besides that I’m not understanding. Thank you for sharing.
Sorry, this is a "demonstration" NOT a "tutorial" an DEFINITELY not for "beginners". No indication of what pigments are used or any guidance as to when/why wet-into-wet or pigment mixing is used. A competent painting but there's no teaching here.
@@tr33m00nk I learned watching great masters paintings (not videos just static paintings) People who are smart need just a hint to understand the technique how its done. Honestly if I had the opportunity to watch & learn from “Niaz Hannan Watercolors” way back then it would have saved me 4 years of struggle!
Jealous people often say that..am used to it now 🥴 but if you practice more and develop your skills you will definitely start loving my content trust me!
I love this channel. I have carpal tunnel and can't hold a brush for long periods of time and this channel shows how to make amazingly beautiful art in a quick session. To each their own.

Think i appreciate ur birds in the sky mosta all... And the field of flowers...
really enjoyed this step by step. this time, you let us see how you manipulated the water on your brush...so helpful for a newbie. Thank you!
Gorgeous!
I love your gentle vibe. Very approachable for beginners. This video gave me a lot of inspiration for a piece I’m trying to figure out, so thank you
I thought it's not recommended to put horizon in the middle of frame. But it looks good as blue water balancing the grass.
It’s not in the middle. Moments after I put the horizon line I gave you a hint that the sky part is bigger. Thank you ☺️
I truly enjoyed watching you watercolor demonstration, and am looking for more on your site,

Beautiful!!! What is the white paint tube you use at the end for the highlights? Thanks!
I may be wrong, but it looks like Winsor and Newton white gouache.

What kind of watercolors are you using? They seem fairly opaque. Gouache?
These are Schminche, Daniel smith, Aquatone etc. in my palette. Now you decide if they are opaque or what
