Of course, I'm using Canson mixed media paper and not Arches 100% cotton. Does it really make that much of a difference? I'm getting so frustrated and maybe that's the problem?
Hi, yes, the problem is often in the paper. If wet on dry will somehow work for you, then wet on wet will not work at all. And the layers will not work, since the structure of the cellulose when applying the next layer washes away the previous one and the layering is not as clear and beautiful as we would like. I pray that Putin will go back to Russia and leave Ukraine and it's beautiful people alone.

What technique did you use on the pink rose and violet jelly fish was it gradient or layering? Also I appreciate your talent and hardwork👏😊❤and have you ever thought of going into textile industry?
Hi my friend, I used both layering and gradient there. I never thought about textiles. There were no offers yet.. 🙄
La felicito por la música de fondo elegida. Es muy bonita y está a un volumen muy correcto. Gracias.
Gracias mi amigа. Sí, intenté configurar el volumen para que la música no interfiriera con mi voz.
skills got me like😮💨
How did you
Wow
I’ve been doing water colour diligently for four years now and never once came across anything as intricate as this…
Well, I've only been doing watercolors for 4 years now) But before that I used to draw with pencils:

Here in this video are the most basic exercises. Just practice.
Awesome video, new subscriber here. I use wet on wet on cellulose all the time-there is a technique to it. I don't soak the paper, and I do smaller sections at a time instead of wetting the whole page.
This was very helpful. thank you! Your artwork is beautiful.

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting ❤
you're welcome
You did a wonderful tutorial here. It was clear, concise and easy to understand while also being lovely to watch. From the very first, I only used the 100% cotton paper. Your results will only be as good as the tools you use. Besides that, you can repair a mistake on cotton paper…any less is just a mess. Thank you for this lovely example.👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👩🏻🎨
Thank you, my friend. My subscribers have been asking me for a long time to create a tutorial explaining the techniques. If it weren't for them, I would never have created it. I hope you found something usable in my video.🤗
Iryna, thank you for this wonderful video, it's interesting to see how the different types of paper makes such a difference to the result when you paint on them. I used to practice all the techniques I know, onto cellulose paper and the result was always very bad. But then I started buying 100% pure cotton paper and the difference is quite noticable. It makes all the difference in the world when you are painting. Thank you for this video.
Iryna, I don't know where in Ukraine you are living, but I am praying for you. I know how terrible things are in Ukraine right now, and my thoughts are with you. Your country is so very, very beautiful and you, and your fellow Ukrainians deserve much better than you are getting right now. I pray that Putin will go back to Russia and leave Ukraine and it's beautiful people alone.
Thank you, my friend. I am from Odessa. It is a city - a pearl by the sea. And my children and I miss that peaceful life very much. But you know, Spain has welcomed us very well. Even before the war, I saw it in a dream, and when I arrived, I recognized those balconies with beautiful flowerpots that I dreamed about. Sometimes I see architecture in my dreams when I sleep, buildings that I have never seen... It turns out that they are simply showing me the place where I will be.🙄
Oh, my..that is so beautiful.
