Description of the picture:
The painting "Good Old Times" embodies the idyllic beauty of nature. Snow-capped mountains create a majestic backdrop for the wide river, along the banks of which there are cozy houses. Smoke from the chimneys adds warmth, while fresh green grass and spring flowers add a pastoral charm. In the boat, the happy boys enjoy fishing while the ship, with its sails lowered, floats calmly on the river, interacting with this secluded and colorful world. The sun, illuminating the scene, gives life to the water, grass and mountains, creating a unique atmosphere of the good old days.

But it was all ruined by sin.
Yet, the LORD created beauty even from the ruins, and the catastrophic Flood of Noah's day, and subsequent Ice Age, and lifted up the high mountains, and created the amazing diversity of the seasons and pointed us back to the only hope of restoration of paradise and of everlasting life. He sent his only begotten Son to pay the penalty for our sins. We only have to humble ourselves and receive him. It's the greatest mystery, the mystery of the Gospel. It's the light in the window.

In your next one, many will applaude when you place a few shimmering rings of rising trout on the glassy water surface, and one shattering the stillness as it leaps from the water and catches the sparkling light of the sky in it's splash and shimmering smooth wet body. And maybe the 3 Billy Goats Gruff on the far bank.😊❤ And maybe another one of your wonderful eagles in the distant clouds. And honestly, the color of the frame detracts from the splendor of your fabulous painting. Perhaps something very dark and neutral? But all I can really say is simply superb! I feel like I just went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and stared at the Hudson River School wall sized paintings there!

However do you decide on the colours for the I mean Khaki? Yets its excellent. I am a painter too and good at it but not as good as you are. I stopped painting fot many years, i am 77 and have no confidence now i wamt to get back to it. Do you copy photos etc?

Very nice, but please skip the "movie magic" where you cut and suddenly the clouds look better, the mountains are faded etc. Just keep the camera rolling, at least I love to see the whole process, even changes and adjustments. 👍
