Phenyx Pro has impressed me time and again with fantastic quality microphones at affordable prices. The PTU-5200 continues this trend, offering a 4-channel UHF microphone setup with adjustable frequencies and great build quality at a price that won't break the bank. I'm especially a fan of how easy the pairing and frequency-changing process is (and of course the sound quality).

If you don't have an Amazon prime account, you need one! I do almost all of my shopping through Amazon and many of the products on this channel are sold there. It's great to have the things I need show up on my doorstep in a day or two (or sometimes even a few hours). You can try it for free for 30 days here: amzn.to/3b6rAo1. Trust me, you won't go back to life before Amazon prime!

Thank you 😊 I just fixed mine
great video! How do you know which channel to switch the mics to?
I know it’s a little more high end but I have the Ptu-1u true diversity mic from Phenyx and believe it or not it replaced my $900 Shure digital mic. It’s amazing
That’s great to hear! I actually have the new PTU-2U true diversity on the way to me right now for review, can’t wait to check it out!
@@DJFAYZE13 trust me you will be amazed at the quality and the sound. Crisp highs and great low end. I think you will find it’s more “super cardiod” than the say. You need to stay on top of the mic more than the Ptu 7000/71. But I prefer that for myself
Curious...could you take that capsule off and swap it with another? It looks like it can be removed, but are the threads and contacts standard with Shure or Sennheiser style? Or is this proprietary?
Anyone know what it would take to rack mount this unit? Like, which rack ears and antenna extenders to buy? I'm so lost when it comes to this.
