@@constantine108563 I'm at 2,700 miles so far, it has been wonderful, I'm fixing to replace the tires, I use it for commuting mostly so I might go with road tires due to how fast the rear tire thinned.
Now that you have had it for a few months how is it holding up for you? How many mile can you go before you have to adjust and oil the chain? Sweet colour btw.
I have 3,700 miles on it now, I've only had to adjust the chain once which is expected with a new chain and I oil mine every seven days due to this being a daily commuter, I put a 14 tooth sprocket on to try it out, huge difference in the trails by the way, now I have a 16 tooth sprocket on it which lets me cruise 75mph with no buzzing.
Tires will be the first thing to get, the stock rear is pretty much bald in the center at 3,700 miles, I did alot of research and ended up buying shinko 700's, according to several different people they could squeeze anywhere from 5 to 7 thousand miles out of these and are supposedly a decent 60/40 tire, I haven't put them on yet but when I do I'll do a real world review on them because in September we're riding through the ozarks. Edit: For $176.39 you'll get your money's worth if it truly last 5 to 7 thousand miles.
@@ThinkBeforeYouSheep Thanks, I really like the KLR but I was under the impression the chain had to be adjusted every 300-500 miles which soured me a bit. Some people said the moto something tires were really good too.Stay safe out there friend.
@@charleswidmore5458 That's from people who probably dog it every time they ride, I've only had to adjust it once at the 2,500 mile mark but like I said any new chain you get you can expect that, so far it's right where I left it.
The bike is awesome. But the best part of the video is your dog's reflection at 0:39 haha XD
Yeah that's my babies lol.
@@ThinkBeforeYouSheep haha..Got a KLR650 adventure myself last week. Loving it so far..
