    I'm kind of surprised by how down to earth and likeable Matt Damon is. Nothing but good things to say about everyone he's worked with .Honest and humble. You're a good guy, Matt!

      I’ve met a few ‘celebrities’ and most are nice people but a few are really genuine down to earth people who make you feel welcome, Matt Damon is one of them but I have to also say that Dwayne Johnson, Keanu Reeves and Elijah Wood are also incredibly polite, humble and friendly.
      There’s 3 celebrities I’ve met though that are just not nice people with a horrible ‘do you know who I am’ attitude.

    I love that instead of breaking down his characters, Matt talks about his co-stars or directors or writers or stunt team and praises everybody. Tells more about him as a person. Love that guy.

    I have binge watched your Jason Bourne trilogy a couple of times.The intensity of the character ,the various locations and the fast paced action scenes will never get old.

    On an unrelated note: I would love it if they did one of these for Robin Williams, but have his kids, wife, friends, colleagues etc share their stories and experiences of working with him. Like have Matt Damon or Ben Affleck talk about Good Will Hunting, Mara Wilson or Sally Field could talk about Mrs Doubtfire, Dustin Hoffman or Steven Spielberg could talk about Hook, Al Pacino or Christopher Nolan could talk about Insomnia, Kirsten Dunst could talk about Jumanji, his daughter could talk about Aladdin, that kind of thing. Idk, hearing Matt Damon talk about Good Will Hunting just reminded me how much I miss him.

    It’s quite remarkable to see an actor of his A grade status being so devoid of ego.
    How he has remained at the forefront of Hollywood for so long, with that amount of wealth and fame and still come across as one of your closest mates is something I’ve always really admired him for.

      I also like how he still did a ton of training and didn't just "let the stunt people do it". Like he said, it hold the shot longer when it's YOU doing it. Keanu is obviously one of the GOATs for still doing insane amounts of training for Hollywood movies, but I respect anybody who goes further in training for their role. Matt was awesome in Bourne.

    Never understimate Damon's Jason Bourne trilogy because it revolutionized action movies forever. Besides they are very good movies, they're probably the most credible action movies EVER. Not to mention that hundreds of movies have copied Bourne stunts afterwards and that deserves recognition.

      The best performance of his career in my opinion, The Departed as a close 2nd. Crazy how despite his A list action star status, and how lively and charismatic he is, he is at his best portraying seedy, wolf in sheep's clothes characters.

    The Bourne trilogy will go down as one of my favorite action trilogies ever. Everything about those movies is great and Matt Damon does a fantastic job playing the amnesiac badass spy/assassin

    Young Matt was absolutely blessed when having taken that leap of faith with screen writing for Good Will Hunting and casted Robbin Williams (he's gifted and played that card strategically). Man really shined and he got that recognition that soon.

    I'm always a sucker for spy movies and to me the Bourne trilogy is great not only because of the scenario but also of the physicality of the fights and chases scenes, grounded in real techniques. Plus Matt is of course great !

    Matt Damon is truly a national treasure; great actor, humble, family man and appears to be an all around nice guy. I watch and rewatch his movies but I wished he would have talked about, We Bought a Zoo. I still laugh at the same scenes and shed tears at others. Keep entertaining us Matt.

      yes i can back that up. i was going to be in a talk show audience where matt was appearing and i knew there might be a chance to see/meet him when he arrived through the parking lot. there was a small group of fans out on the street corner waiting to wave at matt as he drove into the lot. i was driving by at the time and i see this big black SUV pull over and stop at the curb where the fans were gathered...it was him. so i hoped out of my car and ran over. he was there talking to the small group and i walked up and he was very kind and sincere. thinking back i wish i would have carried on the conversation a little longer because I am sure he would have easily allowed it.

    I remember meeting Matt when he was filming in Avalon, PA for the movie "Promised Land" (it was about fracking, great movie that doesn't really pick a side of the debate). He was so down to earth and didn't treat any of the extras (which were all locals) like the hillbillies we're often portrayed as.

    Interesting how Matt Damon was in two genre defining films (Private Ryan and the Bourne franchise). Both films changed how Hollywood made films of those genres and there he was. Matt is truly one of those actors that you can tell is such great guy.

    What a career he’s had! I can still remember going to see Good Will Hunting as a teenager and later The Bourne Identity. It took me a little while to recognise him in the latter as he was so buffed up for the part. My favourite is The Talented Mr Ripley, though.

    Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio are my two favorite actors. There is NO PART these two actors can't do.
    Would love to just meet either of them and say "hi". And it's so cool to hear Damon's thoughts on his roles and some behind-the-scenes stuff

    The Informant! It was one of those movies that I didn't have much expectation with, and was totally blown away by the story and Matt's performance. Btw, this was such a pleasure to watch. You can tell that he's a great storyteller, and not just through acting. Perhaps he should write more..

    This guy is great. I'm amazed at how many movies he's been in. I've only seen one or two, and I was aware of "Good Will Hunting" because of the story. But what a professional. And what a career. I'm impressed. Did he even mention "Rounders"?
