But the truck is really a global Ranger which Ford has been selling in other markets since 2011. We're finally getting a new Ranger for 2024. And while it's still a global truck, it's more adapted to American tastes and needs. The reborn Ranger rides on the global T6 platform and shares much of its hardware with Rangers from other markets such as Australia. Despite sharing a platform with the Australian Ranger, Ford distanced the Ranger Raptor from the United States. At least, until now.
