I'm having issues with rough idle (running rich) after a new S300 install and couldn't figure out why, and looking at your video you explained the injector voltage and how it can make your idle rich... i will totally try lowering the voltage. thanks.
i hope it helped, some injectors even w the specified voltage dead times from the manufacture will still give rich idle no matter how low you adjust the fuel map, just have to dial the deadtimes in for your setup
The greyed out Save setting is not an error. You just saved through the saved as setting. As soon as you make any modification from the save I til save, you will be able to select it not grayed out. It's only grayed because it knows there's no change. Pretty standard in any windows application.
Well I must say, you are the ok boy one that has explained this shit for hondata. Like I didnt even know about setting the TPS like that. Thanks for sharing all this info, since it seams like hondata has a secret and no one will share..... any way it's been 2 months so drop that 3rd video lol
@@TheBrownGarage looking to tune my built bottom end LS on boost and need help understanding ign timing, is there any way u can make a video on how u do yours so I can try doing mine, also I’m on E85 lol , love the videos part 1 an 2 keep it up. Sorry just found ur channel today lol
I'm having an issue on hot starting my car. When I shut off my car after its been running and go to restart it the idle goes up and down until the wide band heats up, it normally takes about 25 seconds for the innovate wide band to heat up. Any ideas what is causing this? No problems on cold starts. I am Obd1 using hondata.
ive nvr dealt with an innovative wide-band, but if i had to guess ide say its either a lazy IAC, or the closed loop is kinda freakin out getting the false afr readings until the wideband warms up, if it goes away and idles fine after 30 secs from restart i wouldn't worry, would also explain why it doesnt do it on cold start since closed loop has a minimum coolant temp before it switches from open loop
I replaced the IAC with a new oem one already. I think it does have something to do with closed loop, I have to fix it because its drives me nuts. Thanks
ah so that rules out iac, a quick test to confirm if its the closed loop, in the hondata settings set to always open loop(closed loop disabled) and see what it does on warm restart
weird question. I see you have a top mounted Turbo, what manifold and turbo is that? also from the head where the manifold connects to the furthest part of the turbo to the front, what is the distance? I have a b16 mounted midship and I want to turbo it but there is a firewall, so I wanted to know if I could put one in. yours looks like what I would be doing
when you first install you need internet access to register it w hondata, if you cant talk to the thing it could be faulty. one of ours went bad and thats what it did, constant cel and we couldnt talk to it w the laptop
I changed some simple ass shit and now it floods every time on start up. Plug stock ecu in and starts right up after burbling the puddles of fuel out... idk what the fuck I did.
oof, hard to say man w/o me being in person w the car. restart with a stock basemap and go form there. what are you trying to do dial in big cc injectors?
@@TheBrownGarage Nah car was already dyno tuned then downloaded from ecu and I guess it corrupted from smanager being a different version than tuner used. So it was flooding from that. I put the stock map on and slowly tuning it myself.

Is disabling the eld an alternative to clipping it's circuit?
if you clip it or run o2 signal to it and dont disable in the ecu, it will detect false eld and amp up the alternator i think
