Great video. I’m looking at getting a V3 and was curious about the UI once plugged in. All I could find before this video was people tuning. Thanks for the info
Yall need to understand, he works for a living, just stay subscribed and press notifications and you will see when Pt2 comes.. I just started today with Hondata.
thanks man, these first few are gonna be a bit boring before i get into actually tuning out on a drive, but i wanted to set the series up so that someone who has legit no clue will be able to street tune their set up
ya i cant recommend them enough, i should compile a list of "tuning" youtube channels to recommend to everyone whos gonna watch this series, every bit of information you can get really helps with this stuff
I hope you can do more videos like this.. im a first time s300 user and im forced to learn how to tune, and people will not put free info up like this.. im going to watch this and part 2 1000 times til I feel comfortable touching up on tunes.. but can you direct me to any more help I can find?? I know jays tech tips but he seems to dive into the mechanic side of things but I haven't watched them all. Anything s300 hondata related would be great, im putting a turbo kit on my accord f23a/f22a and this is the only thing holding me up..
NP, happy to help fellow honda heads, theres still a shit load of info to go over, lots more videos in this series to come in the following months, especially once it gets warm out
Thanks for the video. Inspired to get hondata now lol. Had thoughts of purchasing it but never seen it up close. Been getting tuned on Neptune but I’d much rather learn myself.
I am getting a s300 p28 i've been running socketed basemapped tunes for a real long time I am wondering if I need a wideband to tune my car or will the stock 4 wire be ok. I have a 95' coupe civic with a blue top h23a. Kind of nervous and idk what to expect. its a stock engine with bolt ons, 2.5 header and exhaust.
He is basically making the map. You can get recorded data from the car ehen you drive it, then you can put the time in to tune it on your computer but using your recorded data
when usuing boost by gear and the hondata s300 v3 is there anything that needs to be modified in the physical ecu? like adding or removing resistors or using a triac or transistor?I thought i seen somewhere where you needed to add a kit.
i havent used the electric boost control or BBG options, but from what i can gather it looks like yes you have to add some stuff; www.hondata.com/help/smanager/index.html?boostcontrolecupreparation.htm
I need help tuning my 12 tsx. I have hondata and there are no tunes for my intake and exhaust. My car feels less powerful and runs crappier after uploading base tune.....help
the base tune is really just for cruising around to get a real tune, or starting point for a tune. ive nvr messed with flash pro so i can not help much
Hey brother I have a question could I send you my tune from my del sol d16z6 turbo and you can check it out for me...I have been having a little trouble....
I am sorry to hear about the crash, are you okay ? This video here has been very helpful ! It would be nice if you could do some live pulls and make some live adjustments for us !
no you can use d10 "eld" as your wideband 0-5v input no cutting necessary(remember to disable the ELD in the smanager misc. tab), i use both d10 and d14 unmodified depending on the setup, if you cut the resistor it gives the computer full voltage range instead of a reduced voltage range from the resistor, i.e. with my aem wideband anything richer than 11 ecu thinks is 11 and any leaner than 16.5 ecu thinks is 16.5, if you remove the resistors it should give full range 10-20 afr on the s300; i dont find it necessary because the ecu only uses the wideband input for closed loop fueling which is light to mid throttle were it targets 14.7 to help with fuel economy; its only kinda annoying for data logging because on data logs it will always say 11 if your richer than 11; for all motor its fine because you only target 13.2 afr for N/A; i think its better to work around it than risk damage by modifying the ecu, ill go over this in greater detail on one of the next s300 tuning vids
Great video. I’m looking at getting a V3 and was curious about the UI once plugged in. All I could find before this video was people tuning. Thanks for the info
This was EXACTLY what I was looking for except for the fact I’m using kmanager. Thanks for taking the time, I’ll be sure to do the same.

lol thanks man, ya part 2 comin soon
Great video, looking forward to your series.

Should be good. Also I really like Jay's Tech Tips and Evans Tuning... really good info on there.

your strength gives me strength. lol ill get p3 done soon for ya
Thank you for the series. It really helps

Thanks a million, great information

glad to help, neptune and chrome are not bad especially for budget oriented

Any good Video to watch for only b series went to real street but it’s good info but more for 2jz and not b series
My goodness, you are my hero.
np, part 3 comin soon, gl with the build
I have a b16a2 swapped civic and recently got a p28 s300, what’s the best base map to use?
I have a b16a2 swapped civic with a hondata s300 I recently bought, what would be the best base map to use?
Ty this helped me alot,
np man, best of luck
thank you boss. . .you are the man!
np, a lot more to come
When is the next stuff? This is awesome!!!!!!!!
part 2 comin soon
Good stuff brotha!!!
thanks brotha! lol, a lot more to come for this series, these first few are gonna be pretty boring but ill be getting into the good stuff soon enough
How are you able to tune without it hooked up to a car bro? Is there like a Simulator or something that can be downloaded?
He is basically making the map. You can get recorded data from the car ehen you drive it, then you can put the time in to tune it on your computer but using your recorded data
mr TK knows his stuff lol
Where is part 2? would love to see you follow up with more parts of this series
been on hold since i totaled my black civic shortly after making this, its comin soon
Awesome man, thanks!
np, barley scratched the surface with this one but getting familiar with the software will lay the ground work for the future vids
Thank you so much
np man, p3 is in the works
The Brown Garage remember to watch ALL of J’s tech tips!
@@JustWithJosh indeed, hes still puttin them out, i gotta watch all the new ones lol
have an Hondata S200 Tune in binary code. Does anyone know where the fuel map starts in the binary I am trying to transfer S200 tune to S300 SManager.

How do you read what ur map is at
still waiting on part 2?
i know, its comin soon lol
Waiting for it also :)
Subscribed 🤙🏾
thanks man
How did you set up the boost and afr gauges in smanager?
what do you mean specifically? just creating the gauges in the template or changing the actual values?
🔥🙌
Can the v1 hondata work with the hondaya coil on plug set up?
that i do not know, ide assume not since its so old but i may be wrong
I need help tuning my 12 tsx. I have hondata and there are no tunes for my intake and exhaust. My car feels less powerful and runs crappier after uploading base tune.....help
the base tune is really just for cruising around to get a real tune, or starting point for a tune. ive nvr messed with flash pro so i can not help much
Is it the same for hondata flashpro?
im not sure, ive never messed with flash pro but ide assume its very similar being that its all hondata
Thank you
np, part 2 is comin soon
Hey brother I have a question could I send you my tune from my del sol d16z6 turbo and you can check it out for me...I have been having a little trouble....
Don't think this guy can tune
Can the car pass smog test still?
if its odb1 then yes if you get the tune smog friendly
Lmao, I was dying at 21:42 #Gearheads
lol glad you gotta laugh outa it
saludos quien me ayuda con un mapa d serie
Ditto
Where is part 2 ?
im workin on it, i crashed my civic shortly after making this and just got it back on the road yesterday
I am sorry to hear about the crash, are you okay ? This video here has been very helpful !
It would be nice if you could do some live pulls and make some live adjustments for us !
thanks, ya im good but the car not so much lol; ya that will come later on for sure
I have a question? If I want to use the wideband in D10, I have to cut 2 resistors right?
no you can use d10 "eld" as your wideband 0-5v input no cutting necessary(remember to disable the ELD in the smanager misc. tab), i use both d10 and d14 unmodified depending on the setup, if you cut the resistor it gives the computer full voltage range instead of a reduced voltage range from the resistor, i.e. with my aem wideband anything richer than 11 ecu thinks is 11 and any leaner than 16.5 ecu thinks is 16.5, if you remove the resistors it should give full range 10-20 afr on the s300; i dont find it necessary because the ecu only uses the wideband input for closed loop fueling which is light to mid throttle were it targets 14.7 to help with fuel economy; its only kinda annoying for data logging because on data logs it will always say 11 if your richer than 11; for all motor its fine because you only target 13.2 afr for N/A; i think its better to work around it than risk damage by modifying the ecu, ill go over this in greater detail on one of the next s300 tuning vids
Man I wish ZDYNE didn't die... it was better than hondata IMO for the poor enthusiast.
ive never messed with it lol
If someone drives the car and you don't trust them lol why would you let them use your car hahahahahahah was expecting more detail in the vid
where is the part 2?
comin soon
