Polyester is much better with fiberglass mat , if you want epoxy you have to use fiberglass cloth, but the mat polyester combination could be better for this application

You could very well use a cemented straight floor section to make sure that the hull does not start off being crooked right from the beginning; you can never make it right if that happens; but i'm sure you work with what you have, and you level it off first; Nice work,i'm sure it's a lot of work and a lot of materials used; how long does it take you to finish a boat like that?
