What is more amazing is the ability of these people to use whatever they have to do the job, in this case a very very small pair of scissors, tape, and cable ties. In the west you go looking for specialised and very expensive tools to do a job that does not necessarily require them.
True!
Yeah because westerners make things that last. This boat is just a junkyard turd. Which may be fine for what this guy wants to use it for (generate ad revenue), but lets not pretend its even remotely worth a sh**
I worked fiberglass for years in my youth, building boats, yachts, microwave antennas, and water park slides...just to mention a " few items". The fact that you Failed to use a roller to remove All of the air bubbles to decrease weakness, and all of the " dry spots" missing resin altogether tells me your " boat WILL break up and Delaminate very soon.
... and can we talk about the prop now?
The " boat" is probably built just for content creation.
You right, his bot didn't last long. the fiberglass he made was too thin, he should have made 1 inch thick fiberglass. for durability and safety. so that it does not break. This fiberglass floor is too thin and dangerous. don't follow the people in this video.
Please la give this guy a break. From the moment I see him trimming the mesh with a pair of scissors, I admired his ingenuity to create this amazing craft.
Using wire mesh as the structural medium is brilliant. I was planning on building my own boat in the near future. I just might need to revisit my plans.
Nothing hurts my heart more than watching a young man work fiberglass without a mask. You young sir will not grow old :(
The real issue is to polish the Fiberglass, he didn't polish it. Then It is okay.
@@ramon1930 your kidding me right, thats a bit like buffing a turd.
@@bobmalooga7249 You've done that? ..... I gotta ask .......... Why?
@@sheerluckholmes5468 It's a metaphor we use in parts of my country for waisted labour , as in "you can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear".
@@bobmalooga7249 I'm not kidding. The major problem is the epoxy dust beeing inhaled. If there is not dust, there is not problem.
A Rubber boat as a Basic Element would have cost less than all the Resin. But he did it. Lot of Work. ❤
since it is a rigid structure, you should have take advantage of it by creating separated chambers. this to ensure floating also in case of single/double damage. you can also add on the top hermetic inspection screw caps for maintenance, faster drying in case of spills and even keep fresh small amounts of food and small water bottles
Mega Cool !!!!
The use of CSM where a structural mat should be used tells me this boat won't last too long before it starts breaking at the stress areas. I do like the ingenuity and using the wire mesh is a cool idea for the round shapes like that. I'd be very interested to see how long this lasts
Well done 👏 ✔️
You are one of the best craftsmen in the world!
The safety analysis was cut shorter than needed. There's basically no protection around the propeller.
HAPPY ENVY!!! I like it!
awesome build... thanks for sharing...
Incredible! 👍
awesome, thank you for your great video🎉👍
Really nice work.
Ingenious and very well-built. You are a very talented person. Thanks for showing us your techniques!!! 👋👋👍👍👍
AWESOME!!
great build!
Nice work.. Good effort...
👍👍👍💯💯💯
Use a roller in stead of a brush. Easier and better results as you can remove the small air pockets which you probably have.
Thats awesome, nice boat i hope you do a fishing video with your boat.
Hi, Tech Freeze, ithing your project works pretty well. I want to recomend you to make a Hydrofoil Boat, or Hydrofoil Houseboat.
It need to have electric motor and solarpannels on the roof and walls.
Nice build
No fancy tools just pure skill
you're a genius, smart skillfully.
Id like to see 4 to 6 seperate compartments in both sides. If boat got holed then it would stay afloat. Alternatively fill with polystyrene.
Brave man without mask when dealing with the fiber glass.
Mengagumkan sekali pembuatan praunya ❤
Salam sukses selalu❤❤❤
If you had divided it in between, you would have prevented it from sinking in case of water intake. You could make it unsinkable only if you made it into at least 4 sections with plywood... But as a result, the idea is great...
i just wrote the same thing. i found your comment soon after
Great@
Always appreciate people doing far more with less.
How many hours do you think you put into this? Finish weight? Local cost for this project v. purchase of a similar boat? Motor choice? Why an airboat and not an outboard? I am guessing cost was an important issue, do you access places with this set up you cannot access with an outboard?
I love the concept, hope you can scale up and build these for others.
forget Festool, it's the flip flops that make the difference... people wearing flip flops are just more handy!
True and correct.
Who knew, right? I’ll never measure up because I can’t keep them on my feet.
Pretty cool
Very nice 👍. One thing though.. The engine mounts may not be sufficient. The constant torque and vibration may damage it.
Keren n mantap 👍
This is not the boat in the picture at all!!! I have a spoiled overall impression of the video. We are disappointed!!!
O cara é um gênio! Parabéns!
Nice
working with sheet fiberglass like he is does NOT cause "harm". unless he's using a chop gun crazily, just laying-down and coating with...epoxy? (not sure from vid). old boatbuilder here. this guy's a genius, man!! course...I'd have considered a MUCH-smaller engine, considering. Maybe those new electric with a water propeller? I'd used a different substrate for the "hulls", too :-))) buy...heyyy~
Rewelacja 😊
Genio
Awesome
One mistake. You forgot to put styrofoam pieces or maybe closed sell expanding marine urethane foam into cylindrical area formed by mesh. its great to have some safety. It could be unsinkable.
❤❤
If I could give 5 thumbs up I would!!
Better than paper mache, and will last twice as long!
Nice 😁👍
Wouldn't it be better to install a safety net to prevent anyone from touching the fan?
Fiberglass is fine as long as dust is not produced; i woukld even sleep under a fibergalss cloth if it is clean and still; been doing fiberglass works for 50 years,i can still run a mile...well, slowly LOL
after wetting it with resin, it's perfect, no harmat all, if not sanding it
same with ASBESTOS, thousands of folks sleep under it as their roof and it is fine, as long as NO DUST is produced, and as long no one breathes it in.
Don’t forget break pads. People who drive with the windows down inhale asbestos particles all the time on busy streets.
Everything was going well until the operators ponytail got caught in the unprotected prop.
what's the glue used to solidify the fibreglass?
Hey very smart🙂👍
최고!
I'd leave the seating and motor mount removable. One may choose to update the motor and fabricating mounts in the boat is too slow for my taste.
How many family members went hungry building that 800 dollar boat ?
he goes by 50k views daily- it means 15 USD / 200 USD revenue each day.
👍👍👍!!!
I now have more interest on the yamamax engine 😂
I'm more impressed with him raw dogging those materials no ppe.
While 95% of this build was fascinating from start-to-end, I was grossly disappointed to see this guy mount a gas powered motor atop the boat.
làm thuyền kiểu này quá hay
First, it's an awesome build. but the issue is the fiberglass is too thin and that prop is a death trap.
I hate clickbait thumbnails, you almost got a sub
Please add more protection for the rotor cover😅
It’s going to open up like a can of tuna.
Không bảo hộ tay 😮
It would also be better if you could develop a system that is not dependent on oil.
perhaps Unicorn Skittles?
@@daxtonbrownTastes and colors are indisputable. Anything can be done if you want. Technology has developed and these friends can use the techniques at a high level. It's obvious they are talented.
Meticulous, rigorous captions are hilarious. It’s an amateur built fiberglass boat, not a Pagani supercar.
Well if nothing else I found out where Willy Wonka's chocolate river ended up...
Wheres the champagne bottle for HMS 'People Smuggler'
It's a really cool video,
but touching fiberglass with bare hands is not a good idea.
also because the chemicals are toxic, so you need an industrial mask.
Bloody hell!!! I wouldn't stand anywhere near that propellor. Unlaminated and Unbalanced will put some serious vibration on all those bad welds and the ultra thin bad fiberglass and there is no clutch either. A small Propellor in the water would be so much more controllable and way less dangerous.
The paint was not really necessary thing ) Just added to a weight
He made a rubber dingy without the rubber...
I think like someone said that it was for content creation 🤔. I cannot see not foam filling a boat like this otherwise
Thumnail gak sesui isi video...
it is man's toy
Without a cage over the propeller it could cause a quick hand removeal if someone forgets to look.
Wot?!? No drink holder?
Hello🎉🎉🎉❤❤
