  • This lawn has several huge holes and ruts in it so it is very easy to scalp the yard. If you have a bumpy lawn with some holes in it I like to cut around 4 inches or higher so you dont scalp out parts of the yard. It does not take that much of a hole to scalp out your yard. All it takes is one of your tires to drop into one of these holes then your blades will be cutting mud. In this video I tried my best not to scalp but even I scalped out a tiny section of the lawn. If you do scalp out a bit of the yard you can always go back and trim it up a bit and even it out or just throw some grass or new seed on the bare spot. The bare spot will grow back shortly because grass is pretty resilient but try not to scalp out that same spot over and over then it is very difficult to obviously grow grass there again. #lawncare #landscaping #mowing
