One thing i absolutely love about this channel is that this guy doesn't give his opinion on devices. He shows the people the actual thing and lets them judge according to them instead of influencing their opinion
Opinion is also necessary. For example, with the asus tuff-f15 i got, the battery drains from 100% to 0 in an hour, or the serious heating problems it has. It is mandatory to underclock that cpu on turbomode immediately, else it hits 95'C whilst playing a 15 year old game. And the GPU seems to thermal throttle at about 87'C even tho it has 60% usage. Will definitely need a cooling pad.

@@erkamtb i havent touched my gpu in terms of overlocking or changing the fans, other than just testing and then resetting it, its on the performance bios, and never goes above 55c under full load, and is factory overlocked, anything any more cooling is just more unneeded weight to destroy your motherboard with, (ik not every gpu is the exact same, bc the silicon varies even with the same brand, youll never get 2 gpus the exact same in performance or cooling, but to be 100% honest, my tuf has been outperforming everything ive seen so far that doesnt involve overlocks) when i did test overlocking, was able to reach 3200mhz without any issues whatsoever, which didnt change the temps at all (sry for the long msg lol)

First off: awesome video! No consumer level GPU is worth the price you could have spent in 2019 to build a really high end PC (which included the best GPU at the time). They're not even worth half of that, but Nvidia is going to Nvidia. The markup on this card is insane, and all Asus though. The actual performance "gain" you would get from this compared to the FE might be 5% at most. I got lucky and "only" paid $850 for my day one 3080, and even that was the most I had ever spent on a GPU. People blamed COVID and scalpers for the crazy card prices that followed, but here we are now... I guess the "good news" regarding Nvidia skipping their traditional two year cycle, and not releasing the 50 series until 2025 is that it will allow me time for the additional $1,000 I'll have to save up to get one. 🤬 I used to upgrade every 3 - 5 years, but now it's turning into every 6 - 10 at this rate.
I'm pretty sure the whole 2025 thing is just to increase the sales of overpriced 4000-series cards. OFC 2025 is most likely true for mid-end 5000 series, but I would be surprised if 5090 was released in 2025.
@@KaLaka16 Maybe, but it would be strange for them to announce it, and then multiple reliable sources ran with that story, and Nvidia didn't bother to correct them.
@@Neonmirrorblack It's in Nvidia's interests to have people think that buying a 4000 series GPU is a good idea due to 5000 series release being so far away. Of course I don't really know when they will release it, but until proven otherwise, I believe 5090 will be released in late 2024.
Thats the story of every single chip ever released. Ever. Of course in time they become obsolete. You can either afford the best at the time or go the mid tier route which you're quite happy with. Either works. Some just a little bit better. Nobody with a 3080 would ever turn away a 4090 if there was no finances involved. You get what you pay for. America!

3200$ Not bad for High 10'/ low 20 fps 1% low and ~40 average in CP77 PT using maxed ou raster and PT. I just love how hard to run they make that game. Some people say it would need 5 years to enjoy it with PT 4K no upscaling on a mid card but i think it's more like 10-15, because of how much they just relate on AI and upscaling now that they setup the card to be good enough knowing they will force player to use those features. Pure performance will settle from now and only grow slowly up. The two gen double the power thing is dead.
