For anyone who is unaware, the NVME SSD (MP400: 8TB) used in this build cost more than a 3090ti does in August of 2022. Completely nuts.
Fucking little piece of plastic and microschemes coasts more than a BMW M3
Why is it so expensive? Corsair has other cheaper ssds at the same storage capacity. Genuinely curious, not much of a techie.

I'm building a PC for gaming this weekend (I already spent a lot of money), only waiting on the NVMe to arrive.
I've seen many websites at the internet to get a Windows 10 for a cheap and wondered if they were honest and if it's working long-term.
There are lots of Key sellers in the market. I tried three different companies, and two of them stopped working after a couple of months (One of them after less than a month). Also, once I had to upgrade to Windows 11, it stopped working because the key wasn't valid anymore.
Anyway, I got three keys for all my PCs from BNH-Software and have never looked back since. Zero issues.
There are some cheaper companies however I instead pay a few extra bucks for peace of mind.

Just a heads up, I would be careful with that board right now and NEVER leave running unattended. There is currently and issue where the board can catch fire. Multiple people have reported the same issue on reddit and forums. No official word from Asus yet but it is a very big issue. Seems to only impact the hero from what we know now.

Looking at the board, if it is because of the backwards capacitor, this board is fine, its at 11:10, its the correct way around :-).

I love how Minecraft is getting less fps than other games that have "insane graphics".
Simulation distance and the new 1.18 update have made ir a more demanding game. It's also a more CPU demanding game and doesn't utilize much GPU. Setting render distance to the max on a high end pc, but simulation distance is way too overkill on anything above 16 chunks in my opinion since it's not even really noticeable but really drops a huge amount of your FPS.

If he had optifine, and made his Java edition be recognized by his graphics card he would have had way more fps. It has like a whole setup
I play world of tanks on ultra hd settings at around 60fps and minecraft runs the samw with reduced particals etc

the largest ssd is 100T.
That's what I noticed
Its a SATA SSD, so not the very high speed ones. Older protocol than the standard NVMe nowadays and not running on PCIe. For the record, if you want a measure of speed PCIe is the cable interface that the RTX 3090 ran on.

Make sure that Motherboard isn't one of the ones that has the backward capacitor, otherwise it will fry your system. ASUS is doing a recall for that one specifically

im very certain he could have pushed the performance way more, by example unlocking all the cores, idk if xmp is activated but it most likely is, and just doing some settings adjustments since I could very much see it wasnt doing all to crazy with minecraft and with a 3090 and a i9 12900k he could have very easily gotten over at least 144 fps with all max settings.
He didn't use any optimization mods such as optifine or sodium, even if you have a monster pc it's always beneficial to use these mods

The cpu cooler would be installed better. I mean flip it so the cooling cables/pipes come from right and will not block that fan back on the case.

Hi TheRelaxingEnd, I would strongly recommend that you are to plug in 3 different PCI-e cables in order to ensure proper power is supplied to your graphics card. This may cause problems to you in the future, and I would very strongly recommend that you do plug in 3 power cables instead of 2 with one cable supplying to 2 inputs on the graphics card.

I remember when I build my first PC back in 2018 with the GTX 1080Ti and Ryzen 7 1800X. I'm still using it and I'm planning on building a new one when the RTX 4000 series drops. I honestly can't wait because the feeling of building a PC is somewhat satisfying and magical to me.

Probably not the case- Minecraft by default will only run the launcher on the GPU while the javaw (game executable) runs on the CPU’s integrated. I had the same issue with another build with an 11th gen i7 and 3060, manually added the javaw executable to high performance graphics in windows settings and then was running SEUS shaders with ray tracing and 48 render distance at about 50-60 fps
If anything that’s a testament to how powerful integrated graphics have become in newer CPUs that they can handle light gaming loads pretty well now

Hi, some people have issues when they power their graphics card with the daisy chain connector (aka pigtail connection). With a high power gpu like you have, i’d advise running three individual cables from the power supply rather than using that daisy chain connector (if possible) :)
Shouldn't be a problem, as long as the GPU has 2 8pin from the PSU, the third can be a pigtail one. These GPUs should not be able to saturate a 2*8 pin connector, 3 of them it's an overkill

i'd say the valorant error is because just maybe causing of older windows 11 version but probably not
on windows 11 for some reason, valorant in my pc doesn't launch saying "tpm 2.0 required" even tho tpm 2.0 is enabled
it got fixed once i enabled secure boot
