@@zkilerex9661 What are you smoking? They wont sell more than a few hundreds to actual private consumers. And because ads play SUCH a big role nowadays with social media, it is very likely that the whole first batch of cards went out to reviewers, companies and investors/friends.

I have a MSI 3080 Gaming Trio X and love how unnecessarily massive the shroud is. But the 4090 takes it even further.
Seeing the 4090 next to a full size PS2. and also a steam deck just made me feel weird. the PS2 wasnt exactly a small console. the fact that a graphics card is now the size of an older, full size console is insane to me

1,658.06 PS2s is equal to the power of one PS5, let alone a Beast PC with the 4090
So the PCB is just half the gpu, the other half is heatsink.

It's a real piece of work, and it's a much greater work to watch in a soothing way.

I think the basic rectangular shape of the asus actually looks really good. I find most gaming gpus really ugly, but that one I don't mind.

The massiveness of the 4090's is almost all heatsink, high wattage requirements typically equal higher temperatures. I'm surprised by the scale too, but they probably didn't use that much metal just because they felt like it

@@Myjacob99 The 4090 is actually not "way" bigger than the 3090 Ti and it in fact can obtain 2 to 4 times higher framerates judging by pre-sale power estimates and depending on the title. That's quite a bit more power.
The RTX 8090 will have to be delivered to your house, like you're buying a washing machine or something.

Why does the Strix only have a two slot frame on the end? It needs to at least have a three slot. Also, if I pay almost $2000 for a graphics card I want to have a sag bracket come with it. This is honestly a really bad move from Asus.

Speaking of the RTX 4000 series sizes, I bet that he never held a R9 280X ROG Matrix Platinum ever before, and not to mention the card is almost 10 years old and it's bigger than a 3080Ti, and draws also a lot of power too (250W TDP)
