Overdrive is pathtracing which is crazy demanding no ond has that kind of raytracing its for the future

This guy never get tired of relaxing and unboxing of new products I wish I lived closer to him happy unboxing.
My favorite part of this video is every box being opened with a new knife, half of them being gorgeous and half looking like improvised blades for serial killers
my pc has a 7600X and 2070 super, it's always nice when someone goes AMD all the way because it shows that they care more about value than brand recognition
true, also amd is better in gaming/editing because they are the leader in mutli threading, and in security because on intel you have the intel me which is a backdoor that cant be officially disabled. amd cpus have a similar thing to that but you can officially disable it on most motherboard bios'es.
I don’t much care about brand recognition. I want the best performance and best upgrade path. I went 7950x3D because AM5 is a new platform that has an easy upgrade path with better thermals than LGA 1700 which is EOL. This is also my first AMD build since the Athlon XP 1800+ in 2001. If you wanna jump ship from Intel… no better time than right now. As for the GPU I went 4090 because I wanted the best card for 4K Ultra. If I was running 1440p I’ve had probably went with the AMD card… but for 4K the 4090 is the best option IMO.
@@Yorkfield2008FR You’re not wrong. Love the 7950x3D. An absolute beast in gaming and the 4K/6K video editing/encoding I do. I chose it over the 7800x3D because I wanted the extra cores for productivity and at 4K the GPU is doing all the work anyway. The 7800x3D lags behind in productivity and I’d rather have more cores over a few fps I don’t even need. 👍

its crazy to see how far AMD has come with ray tracing
wtf do you mean they are a full generation behind with rt.... nothing changed lol. Cyberpunk still not really playbale with rt and other games very bad fps for a gpu in this price range. If you buy AMD gpu you get great raster but average at best ray tracing. Makes no sense to sugar code it.

AMD is a real beast for somehow managing to fully compete with Intel in the processor market, and being able to compete with NVIDIA in the GPU market! Seriously an incredible company.

Doesn't really compete with the 4090... but agree about the processor. Just built mine a month ago with the 7950x3D but went 4090 because it is that much better.
Sure the 4090 has better performance, this is true.
But its extremely expensive, uses a lot of power and often runs toasty in my opinion.
For 60% cheaper the 7900XTX is a better option, since the performance is similar to a 4080, runs cooler, uses less power, supports raytracing and has the full 24G of vram. I dont bash your opinion of course, I just find AMD's flagship to be better value.
@@Yorkfield2008FR I don't disagree it may be a better value... but it really just depends on your use case. The main reason I went 4090 is because I game in 4K Ultra. I want the eye candy... max settings with RT and the 4090 will do that... easily holding 60 fps on AAA titles without breaking a sweat. It will do 80-90 fps in my testing but I run my OLED at 60hz instead of 120hz because I don't see the difference so fps beyond 60 is irrelevant. I don't deny it uses a lot of power (LOL) but mine definitely doesn't run toasty. I'm running the Gigabyte Aero 4090... 3 fans... and even at max gaming it's consistently 60-65C. I don't consider that toasty. The 4090 is really a 4K card... if you are doing 1440p the AMD card is a fine option. Not sure how the AMD performs in 4K Ultra but obviously not going to be as good as the 4090 and I wanted the best of the best for 4K.

What i like about this channel, he testing so many game (triple A single player / adventure rpg game) not only just shooter/competitive/multiplayer game like other channel. Because I'm more like it to see testing gaming in a single player rpg game, so i know when using this or that spec we can get how many fps in the game.

yes i have, got an LG ultragear gn850b and have had it for close to 2 years soon, its an AMAZING monitor and the absolute pinacle of gaming, you dont need 4k with a monitor like that.
Tho its "only" Nano ips display but still, amazing stuff.

We have that monitor on display at work. Two things about it:
1) it is good monitor but do not play games below 50 fps. It does not like those low frames.
2) The price tag will melt your wallet. $1695USD for NA and almost 2000 euros otherwise!
Funny part is that I own the 7900XTX Sapphire Nitro + and I love it! I run at 4K 240Hz and yeah the 7900XTX really shines! Also it is good at playback and gaming on HDR. It is by far the best card for HDR content!
