Wasn’t there that one where fictional characters were transported to a world so similar to this one that it was, in effect, indistinguishable without inquiry? And one of the characters was a knight from a fantasy series? It was called Re:CREATORS. It was, if nothing else, interesting. As was working out the syntax for this paragraph.

I think one of the biggest culture shocks would be the French kings, Paris would be nearly unreconizable from it's Medieval incarnation, with maybe Nortre Dame being one of the few familiar landmarks, and the Louvre has changed from a castle to a fancy museum full of tourists

I would definitely caution anyone from our era to not underestimate the intellectual speed and capabilities of someone from ancient or mediaeval times. I think that they would shock you with their intelligence. I think that simply the necessities of their day-to-day lives required far more intellectual capability just in order to survive then what our daily lives require of us today. And if they were freed of their Necessities by modern technology I think that you be surprised with how fast the world would have developed just that much earlier in time

People also fear what they don't understand, though. You had people who lived through the industrial revolution who spent the rest of their lives misunderstanding how electricity worked & what the actual dangers were. I kind of fear getting anyone from the past who was Christian or Muslim into the present, they would be terrified for a time then enthralled for a little bit, but would quickly come to resent & fear everyone & everything, assume you are some kind of Satanic trick plaguing them & become extremely hostile. More ancient Pagans might be more likely to just find stuff that isn't like their own cultures amusing, but it's hard to say. Modern movies would eff them up, as we're all desensitized from it. They told similar kinds of stories, but hearing about something & seeing it are two different things. Remember that movies from pre-1990 that have laughably bad effects don't bother us now, but shocked, awed & terrified people at the time. Imagine jumping an ancient person directly into a modern film with violence or horror or gore.
Ancient people actually had an incredible understanding of the stars and how the sky relates to the seasons, weather, etc. I mean how else would they know what day of the year it is? There’s star charts from 30,000 years ago, so I’m pretty sure if humans could make detailed maps of the stars from Earth’s perspective 30,000 years ago, they had a pretty good understanding 1,000 years ago.

To be fair to Calculus, when taught properly it really isn't as hard as everybody's made it out to be. I'm sure in the future as teaching methods improve along with the average human's knowledge, most people will learn calculus by quite an early age.

By describing the machinery off as Automata, it would make explaining much of the world easier to understand. We tend to think they were primitive back then, however in some areas it could be comparable to modern times. It was just a different methodology. The history of Automata opens peoples eyes of what some advancements happened back then and even before that. It's a common belief that the modern age seemed to appear from nowhere but actually it came from a buildup of ideas that were finally put into practice. Ironically some of Davinci's ideas are being used in modern Robotics/Automata today because they work better. Some automata types of practices have been traced back 3000 years to run forges with waterwheels. Some evidence is scarce in between but some does exist. It's likely existed as long as forging has existed but even still gears were made from wheels and wooden pegs so it wasn't entirely necessary.
I'm only half way through this video but I had to comment on how much fun I am having watching this you do a great job.

i think in woman right medival europe is not the worste if you take 10 for moderne society and 0 for greek you would have -13 for islamic contry like arabe or egypte 3 for roman , -3 for victoria england , medivale europe is probaly something betwen 6 and 8 so no so bad probaly 6 for contry like italy and a solid 8 for constantinoble (sadly after the turk take it it go from 8 to -13 imedilatly).

This is the most unique reasons in my opinion if our medievel kings could time travel to today:
1.Why do some people are so culturally obsessed with other people's culture *(example: K-Pop, the 'Boos', being bored with their own racial identity, white/Black lifestyle)* instead of elvolving and making their own race as powerful as them.
2.Why do people nowadays idolize a figure who just gain a lot of recognition, doing stupid dances/Looks handsome/pretty ONLY, wealthy lifestyle on their own INSTEAD of honouring a figure that has changed the history of this world, making a huge contribution and impact to humanity like it was in the old to ancient times 😭😭😢
3. How could Some nation with a trumendous amount of diversity/multiculturalism could co-exist with each other peacefully??
