I have the entire DB series in the 3-in-1 editions but have DEFINITELY considered upgrading to the Box sets because I like how they look and the paper quality is better. . . So maybe some day I'll do that and give my friend my current copies(eye decay, maybe keep) Not sure yet.
I like the singles better but if I were you I would use the money to get other series that I don't own and want to read. Maybe wait for a sweet deal on the box

@@justafreak I've only ever seen the anime (DBZ to Super & GT) though I own vol.6 of DBZ, vol.1 of DBS, and have read some spin-off/inspired doujin like DBAF, and DBNA. Definitely gonna save for this myself!!
I do not know why the Dragon Ball series never interested me. I will probably read it one day( do not judge until you read) but not in the near future to be honest. I really do enjoy Bleach, I have read the first 7 volumes. I will order the second box set of Bleach in the next couple of days. Short question: is Goodnight Punpun that good? Cause it is my next seinen that I have in sight. Keep it up, man!
These. The viz bigs look great on the shelf and have a bigger page and the page quality is a bit better but the binding is bad. I had a couple of those with the cover coming off since the glue didn't hold. Now you can glue them back yourself but it sucks to see that happen. Your book falling apart. Now keep in mind that it doesn't happen on all volumes. I have the fist part of the series in a vizbig format but I bought the boxset for Z
I don't like those 3 in 1's editions from Viz. The page quality is really low. I have 2 volumes like that and I replaced them. The page is so thin that you can see on the other side. I don't recommend them. Those are an option only if you are on a thight budget buuuuuut even like that I would say pay 2 dollars for a month of the viz app to read it online legally. If you want to collect the series avoid those

For example books2everywhere or something like that is a seller that usually has great prices. Also on bookdepository they have the Black Friday sale this weekend and a coupon for 10% off BF10. Never buy for retail price. That's the golden rule

Ofc we don't get prices similar to UK or US but it's way better than what they are charging me in Romania. I also have some German volumes and the quality is better than the English one. Are you talking about Panini or what editor? You could also try Blackwell, wordery or booksple.se
