And for clarification, the bug with #3 is that you only need to destroy two cores for some reason.
Also, I'll likely cut back to a video every two days for a while, as I'm fairly short on time at the moment. I do have something cooking, though - stay tuned.

This made me realize I haven't actually tried the FAEB. Jesus that thing is powerful.
It's actually not that amazing in AC5, the damage is pretty low - one bomb won't kill tanks, for example. On the other hand, in ACZ... oh boy.
And the Su-37 has it equipped, too. I swear, the speedrun for ACZ is half-Su-37 because of that. FAEB just absolutely destroy the Hresvelgr (XB-0).
I used it in AC6 to kill the Agion, and also regular bombs are fun, as well as anti-ship missiles.

The FAEB is CRAZY in that mission in which you destroy the munitions plant. The combined sound of the FAEB exploding and all the targets it destroys at once makes it SUPER loud.
I'm just imagining Blaze with a shit eating grin during the TLS kill.

Actually, Positron spotted that I actually got three cores with the RCL - they got the central core with splash damage. So not that interesting after all :P
Gotta say, despite being somewhat vanilla, the TLS struck me the first time I tried it on the SOLG. That's some real STEEL CARNAGE right there.
Hah! I'd say getting the central core like that is still pretty cool, qualifies for a spot in this video, at least. :P
And yes, that destruction with the TLS feels nice, almost like a reward for unlocking the FALKEN, in a way.

I think the hitbox of the tunnel is a bit smaller than the actual tunnel. I've tried flying through the middle several times and there will be several feet of clearance, but it still counts as a crash
Indeed. And there's quite a few aircraft that can't fit in at all, most notably the one on the cover.
The first can actually be done every plane but the second is always the most satisfying (like those old hot knife videos lol). I've never seen 5 before.
So it's nice to see that, yes, replicating the "Destroy all five cores" thing is possible. If a different method to the one I used (Lucky TLS shot from behind)

I never even thought to let SOLG falls into Oured, let alone attack through the "tunnel" or even using an Attacker airplane for this mission

It's the actual name of it. Mutually Assured Destruction is the theory that if two enemies know attacking will mean they'll be destroyed too, they won't. That's the pillar of nuclear deterrence - you can't use nukes if your enemy has them.
Figured it was appropriate for "nuking" the SOLG, lol.
#6 was pretty metal, not gonna lie. Hahaha

OK, with the last one... it looked like the air friction caused two of the core components to spontaneously combust. I wonder: if you destroyed all but one of the core components and then sat on your ass, would the last one get destroyed by the friction, thus allowing you to actually destroy the SOLG using air friction and gravity?

I prefer it as it is, frankly. I can actually use it in regular gameplay without breaking the game.
I never knew there was an opening in the back of the SOLG. When I was a kid I always destroyed it from the back externally.

I'm assuming this is run through an emulator to achieve that kind of post processing, and if so, I was wondering what settings you were using? I'm using PCSX2 myself, and I can't get rid of the artifacting, let alone increase the anti aliasing on my monster rig.

By the aliasing issues you mention, I assume you're in software mode. Hardware mode's the way to go - far more efficient resource-wise and allows the improvements you see. One note: unlike what I say in that vid, do go with OpenGL if you're using nVidia - I didn't realize at the time OpenGL's poor performance for me was caused by my AMD card.

Definitely just shooting missiles from the outside. That's what the game and your allies tell you to do. There's no indication about the tunnel - it's just an alternate way, more of an easter egg.

Well done since I'm an Ace Combat fan that is supportive of Osea and Emmeria. Option 7 is the bad choice because you simply let the Belkans win and usher in a new age of Belkan Glory after their defeat in Ace Combat Zero.
