What really makes Ace Combat stand out to me is how they build the legend of the protagonist from a young rookie or a drifting merc to a pilot who becomes the terror of death to their enemies and the wings of hope to their allies. Literally no other franchise deals with this build better, and earning your new title like "demon lord of the round table" no other game really gives you that swell of pride like Ace Combat.

In every Ace Combat game, you're EARNING the respect and admiration of your allies, and the fear and hatred of your enemies. It is a legitimate progression of the main character starting off as someone seen as a green horn and becoming the most badass ace pilot of the skies as they demonstrate their skill in various planes. Halo is fun for its trip, but for me? Ace Combat makes the progression in each story *satisfying* to sit through.

I like the touch of having Wardog/Razgriz flying F-14s during all their clips. It's their "canon" plane, even if it's not actually available for mission 3 (Edge's introduction).

I kinda like how when you give the main characters their own intro, it feels like you're on the opposite side about to face them. Imagine seeing the part with 'Demon Lord' or the 'Ghosts of Razgriz' sequence before you face them in a squadron fight, that would be real intimidating.
Honestly? I'm sad we haven't seen an AC spinoff, as some poor Yuke or Stovie chopper pilot just fighting to have a home to land at and to keep their friends and comrades safe... only to run into what is, to them, a disconnected god that *will* wipe them off the map if they don't get the hell out *now.* You per-campaign kill count frequently lies in the realm of thousands of soldiers, but the effect on enemy morale is always portrayed as a sort-of friendly rivalry-to-nemesis relationship, not a genuine response to the hurricane-like horror monster that you regularly become, so.. why not explore that? Would be a nice mirror to the main games kissing your boots all the time.

To this day, Cipher is still my favorite ace from the series. Uses an F15 to face superfighers and his skills allow him to succeed. Imagine him in an F22, possibly unstoppable in my eyes. Just wish they would give us some remasters using the current engine. God l need this so badly but I doubt it will ever happen.

Man, you gotta give it to the Ace Combat series: The gameplay isn't realistic but it's fun as hell, the soundtrack is an absolute banger (the spanish guitars in Zero remain my favourite) and the story and writing are so good, even if it might be a bit cringy and overly convoluted at times. Those one liners just stick the landing

The original Ace Combat(also called Air Combat) was the first game I ever played in my entire life, when I was only 4 years old, and it was love at first sight for me. I've stuck with the series through every step of the way ever since, and I never looked back from it. The storylines were epic, the characters were well developed, and the planes were excellent, even creating their own fictional models that actually look plausible in real life. The continuity in story between the PS2 games(4, 5, Zero), the Xbox 360 title(6), and the current gen(7) was a definite plus for me, and I'm proud to see so many people share the same love I have for these fantastic games. This was a definite love letter to the fans who stuck to the series all these years, and it really shows how far we've come, and how much passion PROJECT ACES has for it all. These games are a once in a lifetime experience that will have a place in my heart til the day I die.
I won't lie after playing the ace combat series I cried. Its such an emotional roller coaster but in the end it was all worth it. Thank you other pilots from all generations for flying by my side and I hope we can all fight and fly again.
As someone who's played Air Combat (the first Ace Combat) to AC7's 1st mission and not having the pleasure of having an XBOX to play AC6, this was TRULY one of the most amazing and tear jerking thing I've ever seen! Thank you!
I've never seen a tribute such as this. The shots you used, introducing pilots and their squadron, using and syncing up one of the best songs from this amazing franchise, and editing it all together beautifully to give us something special. Nothing Else Comes Close. I salute you, and thank you!
Trigger is one of my favourites on this list... sadly I was born in a generation that is almost blind about this brilliant franchise... I only played AC7 but plan to play all of them thanks for inspiration!

Project Aces sure has projects to place some unnumbered (not AC8) games in the canon that may take place in the 80's like the Rectan conflict or Estovakia civil war, leasath civil war, Erusean expansionists wars that Mihaly fought in, the bloody war, the mysterious war in the 1940's that has a top Ace on it (check on acepedia about this). And there's just many things to go for.

Each of the aces, and the games they appeared in, all had their one signature aircraft Mobius: F-4 Phantom II Cipher: F-15C Eagle Blaze: F-14 Tomcat Talisman: F-15C Eagle Warwolf: F-22 Raptor Trigger: F-22 Raptor
Mobius signature fighter was the F-4 but once he reached legendary status he switched up to F-22 Blaze and his squadron used F-4 during their nugget days but switched up to F-14 as their main craft especially when they became the Razgriz squadron. Cipher was consistent with F-15 throughout the Belkan war. Trigger had the F-16 in his nugget days. Switched to a run down F-15 during his time in the spare squadron. A good and maintained F-15 in the Strider, and lastly to an F-22 at the final days of the lighthouse war. Scarface got an F-22 too but he's so beast they gave him the Fenrir. 😂 Idk about talisman and warwolf haven't got a chance to play it coz i don't have an xbox and assault horizon doesn't seem like an ace combat game so i skip it.
You gotta give it to Ace Combat Their callsigns are just so fucking cool I was a tanker in the military and don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade my tank for anything since it is its own experience but god damn if these games don't make me want a jet

My idea for the final mission of the next Ace Combat: Hugin and Munin: “GIVE IT UP, TRIGGER! You’re outnumbered and out classed! You stand *NO* chance against us. It’s just yourself versus our army of ADFs.” Trigger: “Who said I was alone?” And then, every Ace and squadron from across the franchise appear behind Trigger, ready to protect their home, at any cost.
And I know the age difference of each of the characters since their debut would be different, but we have Mihaly as an example. And since I’m feeling good rn, I wanna have all of the enemies and antagonists turned good guys. Just because I like it that way. I don’t care if I also bring back dead ones, I just want a crossover.

意味もなくトンネルの中や橋の下、ビルの間を、さらに意味もなくロールしながらくぐってみたり、攻略サイトを見ずに血眼になってネームド探したり、機銃のみ縛りでトライしたり‥

The gameplay isn't realistic but it's fun as hell, the soundtrack is an absolute banger (the spanish guitars in Zero remain my favourite) and the story and writing are so good, even if it might be a bit cringy and overly convoluted at times.

the campiness is part of the fun

The original Ace Combat(also called Air Combat) was the first game I ever played in my entire life, when I was only 4 years old, and it was love at first sight for me. I've stuck with the series through every step of the way ever since, and I never looked back from it. The storylines were epic, the characters were well developed, and the planes were excellent, even creating their own fictional models that actually look plausible in real life. The continuity in story between the PS2 games(4, 5, Zero), the Xbox 360 title(6), and the current gen(7) was a definite plus for me, and I'm proud to see so many people share the same love I have for these fantastic games.
This was a definite love letter to the fans who stuck to the series all these years, and it really shows how far we've come, and how much passion PROJECT ACES has for it all. These games are a once in a lifetime experience that will have a place in my heart til the day I die.

I won't lie after playing the ace combat series I cried. Its such an emotional roller coaster but in the end it was all worth it. Thank you other pilots from all generations for flying by my side and I hope we can all fight and fly again.

As someone who's played Air Combat (the first Ace Combat) to AC7's 1st mission and not having the pleasure of having an XBOX to play AC6, this was TRULY one of the most amazing and tear jerking thing I've ever seen! Thank you!
I've never seen a tribute such as this. The shots you used, introducing pilots and their squadron, using and syncing up one of the best songs from this amazing franchise, and editing it all together beautifully to give us something special.

The first time I beat an Ace Combat game (7, in really early 2022), I shed tears of joy at the amazing experience that I had just concluded.

Project Aces sure has projects to place some unnumbered (not AC8) games in the canon that may take place in the 80's like the Rectan conflict or Estovakia civil war, leasath civil war, Erusean expansionists wars that Mihaly fought in, the bloody war, the mysterious war in the 1940's that has a top Ace on it (check on acepedia about this). And there's just many things to go for.

@@denfire5063 that is the bet for AC8. The REAL corporate war or at least the beginning of it with the IUN-PKF and GR and continuing the storyline with the multiplayer like Infinity did. Remember: Infinity is an 8 but in a 90 degree angle

I know this is a relatively old video but it always somehow makes my heart skip a beat and put a smile on my face. You’ve managed to make an amazing tribute for this series and for that I am grateful. Mobius: F-4 Phantom II
Cipher: F-15C Eagle
Blaze: F-14 Tomcat
Talisman: F-15C Eagle
Warwolf: F-22 Raptor
Trigger: F-22 Raptor
Wouldn't Talisman be in a F-15E?
Mobius signature fighter was the F-4 but once he reached legendary status he switched up to F-22
Blaze and his squadron used F-4 during their nugget days but switched up to F-14 as their main craft especially when they became the Razgriz squadron.
Cipher was consistent with F-15 throughout the Belkan war.
Trigger had the F-16 in his nugget days. Switched to a run down F-15 during his time in the spare squadron. A good and maintained F-15 in the Strider, and lastly to an F-22 at the final days of the lighthouse war.
Scarface got an F-22 too but he's so beast they gave him the Fenrir. 😂
Idk about talisman and warwolf haven't got a chance to play it coz i don't have an xbox and assault horizon doesn't seem like an ace combat game so i skip it.
