A very demanding undertaking, to chronicle each of these awesome climactic missions. You guys at LH have my greatest respects. My vote’s with either Megalith or Zero for the best one, but since they’re so different from each other I couldn’t pick just one. Unsung War had the music to back it up when hitting the SOLG, but not even the Grabacr/Ofnir fight could make it a ‘great’ in my eyes. Chandelier is just a triple-A shitfest with the dumb repetition of the Stauros. Credit to the ‘late‘ Tomcat for getting through that without taking damage. Did he do that on Ace difficulty? I always loved the juxtaposition of the peaceful music that went with the AC1 boss. That thing gave me nightmares when I first tried to beat it. Again, great work!
First of all, thank you very much. To awnser your question about Tomcats flight on Chandelier, it most likely has been Ace difficulty. He mentioned in a message that he had to redo the mission a few times but his reason was that he didn´t played Ace Combat 6 in a while. Furthermore, since it is Tomcat171 I ( in this case me, BG, who managed and created this whole video here) belive he did that on Ace anyways . But after all i can´t tell for sure.
Well, personally I think there isn't much difference between Megalith and Unsung War. In terms of objectives they're pretty much the same: destroy the big evil weapon while you try not to get detroyed either because you're flying in tunnels, or because of the spare parts flying. Both have super epic themes that accompany them. In both, your squadron (Mobius and Razgriz) have achieved the staus of legendary aces, you feel like you're invincible. And I even dare to say, that Razgriz squadron has a better development, hence you feel more attached to them. Same thing with Mobius 1, but in AC4 it's only him, while in 5 is the whole squadron. And about the enemy aces you face, I think Grabacr and Ofnir are badass. You could make a point in saying that the Yellow squad has better development, hence why they're better foes in the final mission, and I would agree with you... if we faced Yellow 13 in Megalith. But we don't. And without their OG leader, Yellow squadron loses that extra point they could've won, in terms of epic final fight against you rival. Yet, my fav final fight is Zero. It's an actual dogfight. And that imo, makes it feel smaller in scale, but much more personal. Yes, you're preventing th V2 from nuking a city, but you don't feel like you're fighting for the world. You feel like you're fighting a personal battle, against and old friend. Two faces of the same coin: similar, but in the end they never face the same direction. There's a rivalry between Pixy and Cipher. You hate Pixy for his treason, but at the same time you respect him, not only for his skills, but also because he has principles, even if they're misguided. It's an honorable fight. And the them, god: "Zero". It's different from the other Ace Comabt final mission themes. In 4 and 5 you have this grandiose orchestras and chorus, that are epic af, don't get me wrong. But they fit more for a "Fight to save the world" type of mission. For a final mission like Zero, that's personal, having spanish guitars and castanets, gives it a unique feeling, makes it stand out. The way the theme uses the chorus in the more "relaxed parts" of the theme, like if you're in the eye of the storm, the calm part, and then jumps again to the guitar and castatnets, giving you that adrenaline injection, jumping to battle again... it's masterful. I love Megalith Agnus Dei and The Unsung War, but Zero is on another level imo. It feels the most unique, and it feels like a theme for an actual fight, a dogfight. A 1v1. Two mighty warriors that started as brothers in arms, for now to end as kind of arch enemies. But always with respect and honor. The Demon Lord of The Round Table vs Solo Wing Pixy. Two fcaes of the same coin: similar, but in the end they never face the same direction. One shall rise, one shall fall
I liked 5's flight thing. "Captain these aren't really suited for..." My thoughts always were "Who cares what you think? We're still going to blow stuff up." Edit: There's one thing I miss in Ace Combat. The missions that require you to fly inside a target to destroy it. AC4 had it with Megalith. 5 had it in the final mission. So AC3 was all some cucked researcher's wet dream of misguided revenge? Guess that's fine since it means all those depressing outcomes never really materialized with the exception of Dision's deletion at the very end...
I always thought AC4’s ending would have a lot more impact if the asteroid impacts were more than just window dressing. For an event with such long reaching consequences, it seems limited in scope as it’s depicted. Even something as simple as “Reports of Asteroid impact at Farbanti” coming over the radio would have gone a long ways.
Air combat: havent play Ace combat 2: okay Ace combat 3: final cutscenes: wtf I was simulation...... (The Best because multiple ending) Ace combat 4: Oh yeah baby Mobius One Ace Combat 5: emotional rollercoaster, yeah it's safe to cry Ace combat Zero : (I forgot about time limit) Pixy for thr firstime because song was and dogfight are intense Ace Combat 6 (Haven't played yet) Ace Combat 7 (Have bought yet)
Still sad that I never played AC3 but then again it might have been for the best since the US version of the game cut out half of the actual game, removed all voice acting and instead replaced all story elements with a black screen with white text boxes to read. The fact that the so called "Final mission" of the US AC3 was to hijack the AI of a XR-900 then use it to shoot down the other drones and that was it. While the japanese version had so much more after that. Such a shame. But at least we now have a way to experience this game in its fullest now. In fact I say we should have a full remake of AC3, I think its time we see this game in full
Hi, i was the one who made the whole video back then as well as piloted most of the missions/planes. I never really uploaded any content like this other then here on Skyward. But thank you for your kind words, i appreciate it.
It's because in AC3 there is about 6 alternate endings depending on some in-game choices you would have to make on occasion. This is the result from each of them.
@@goodjho Yeah I hope so too. Would add longevity to it so it's not a "one and done" sort of game like #6 was for example. Then again, the story needs to be pretty solid too.

4:00:34 - "So, did we win the war?" "I don't know. History determines the winner." Man, shut the hell up. Yes, we won. We pushed the enemy all the way back to Farbanti, crushed their superweapons and elite forces, and annihilated their army. We won. The real question is whether or not we were the good guys.
I understand why you skipped Assault Horizon; Nobody wants to remember that game. Assault Horizon Legacy, however, is not what you think; Legacy is a remake of AC2, Scarface and all.
Hi, im guy who worked on the video. While yes, AC:AH was a... special game, it was not taken in simply for not being in the same universe as the other games. Si
Why would they get rid of the d-pad squad support function? I hope they bring it back.
Seriously, in AC 3 i still feel regret to shot one of NEMO friends (Even we know we are in Simulation)
BUT STILL!!
Meh, I just do it for sake of experience on simulation of Simon

So AC3 was all some cucked researcher's wet dream of misguided revenge?
Guess that's fine since it means all those depressing outcomes never really materialized with the exception of Dision's deletion at the very end...
3:55:56 "We're Better in a dog fight!"
Proceeds to get absolutely nuked
5:02:45 *THAT'S WHAT V2 IS FOR*
I miss AC4
Same bro. Same
I always thought AC4’s ending would have a lot more impact if the asteroid impacts were more than just window dressing. For an event with such long reaching consequences, it seems limited in scope as it’s depicted.
Even something as simple as “Reports of Asteroid impact at Farbanti” coming over the radio would have gone a long ways.
5:05:45 well that phrase sure is familiar
the ending to 5 was amazing..... but we still lost Chopper.....o7
Ace Combat 5 is my faviore one of all the Ace Combat games!
I knew ac 3 will take half the video time
AC Electrosphere FTW🔥✨wish they do REMAKE
Ace Combat 3 and a half hours.
That aircraft in ace combat 3 kinda looks like the Aurora I noticed the engines at the bottom.
You forgot a final mission in ace combat x2, assault horizon, assault horizon legacy, and infinity
While you aren´t wrong, this video focuses on the main plot games and not the side games. It was mentioned in the description.
@@SkywardFM But Assault Horizon Legacy is just AC2 In Steroids
@@LamBosco Legacy is the remake of 2. So it counts.
Those are all real earth games save Legacy, and the original is always better then the remake.
Air combat: havent play
Ace combat 2: okay
Ace combat 3: final cutscenes: wtf I was simulation...... (The Best because multiple ending)
Ace combat 4: Oh yeah baby Mobius One
Ace Combat 5: emotional rollercoaster, yeah it's safe to cry
Ace combat Zero : (I forgot about time limit) Pixy for thr firstime because song was and dogfight are intense
Ace Combat 6 (Haven't played yet)
Ace Combat 7 (Have bought yet)
Still sad that I never played AC3 but then again it might have been for the best since the US version of the game cut out half of the actual game, removed all voice acting and instead replaced all story elements with a black screen with white text boxes to read. The fact that the so called "Final mission" of the US AC3 was to hijack the AI of a XR-900 then use it to shoot down the other drones and that was it. While the japanese version had so much more after that.
Such a shame. But at least we now have a way to experience this game in its fullest now.
In fact I say we should have a full remake of AC3, I think its time we see this game in full
Been enjoying playing AC3 and taste all paths, from kinda happy ending, and grimm outcome, with 4/5 Endings is basically destroying Dision's Aurora
I grew up with this games
if they released an Ace Combat 3 mobile I would be so grateful, emulators are sometimes uncooperative😢
Mobile???? I'm sorry but how are they gonna pull this off on mobile?? I know Danganronpa 1 and 2 got mobile port's so it's kinda possible to do it.
Just play in emulator like I did, PS1 game runs very well on emulator even in minimum RAM Device
The ace combat 7 I like that one cause of top gun maverick edition
SEVEN HOURS? Holy shit
very loved your video
Where can i found the original ace combat 5 videos? The player's skill is awesome!
Hi, i was the one who made the whole video back then as well as piloted most of the missions/planes. I never really uploaded any content like this other then here on Skyward.
But thank you for your kind words, i appreciate it.
Why is the gap between Ace Combat 3 and Ace Combat 4 so wide??? How long is the final mission in 3???
It's because in AC3 there is about 6 alternate endings depending on some in-game choices you would have to make on occasion. This is the result from each of them.
@@Karter_Blackpaw I really hope they bring back the multiple ending for the next game, so we can have more reason to replay the whole campaign.
@@goodjho Yeah I hope so too. Would add longevity to it so it's not a "one and done" sort of game like #6 was for example. Then again, the story needs to be pretty solid too.
Ace Combat Xi should be on the list. its also strangereal
Xi is a IOS exclusive that is not begin sold anymore...
It's considered to be a lost media now
I think is not completely lost media, because recent Iphones can download games by QR code images, and still have ACXi QR code in some pages.
i wish someone code that game for android
I wish
Anyone notice megalith in AC4 is an AC2 throwback, complete with missile destruction and flying out of the silo opening?? Lmao it is THE SAME. see for yourself.
imagine Metal Gear-Resident Evil-Ace Combat crossover
Strange how the verry frist ace combat was so similar to the new ones... (given tech diference)
Not gonna lie Ace Combat 6 plane models and graphics looks like BF4
ACZ is the perfection❤
4:00:34 - "So, did we win the war?" "I don't know. History determines the winner."
Man, shut the hell up. Yes, we won. We pushed the enemy all the way back to Farbanti, crushed their superweapons and elite forces, and annihilated their army. We won. The real question is whether or not we were the good guys.
The Eruseans invaded first so hey
What I would have given to have 6's target screen and HP bar in 7...
In the ace combat 7 last mission the Qaam is the best weapon in the game
No it's the HVAA.
Negative m8. Its the EML.
@@rbching3535 Nyet, Comrade. HVAA+T.A.S.D on Soviet-made SU-33 is best.
Nah, MGP is clearly best
@@oliverhenderson5761 Nah, the aircraft itself is the best weapon (if you can crash into the ADF-11's quickly)
3:52:18 EPIC!
What is the obsession with Ace Combat and tunnels anyway?
Where's AC assault Horizon
Not in Strangereal universe. The beginning of the video says it only shows games available to the Strangereal world.
As for AC2 Legacy, that is a mistake by me in a way. It is true that it would belong here. However, I only wanted to show the original ones for this Video. There is no real other reason.
@@Borrel1337 We alright have 3D
This video is 7 hours omg well im not sleeping tonight 😂
Where is the 3DS Ace Combat game?
You can smell the hate towards ACAH from miles away 😥
I'm surprised you all chose to do 2 over AHL
