Male or female, if we live long enough we all eventually feel loss. The best that we can hope for is for it to be at the end of a long fulfilling life. Eventually there will come another day when you can smile, and eventually one where you can laugh and love again as you once did. Every woman makes you a different person, and it is the same for them. No one in a relationship is unchanged, and that is the thing to remember and look forward to.

I've been there, brother. It's good that you're letting the pain happen. I avoided it for a long time, and it made me bitter. It wasn't until I let it pass through me that I could begin to think about the future.

I dont know all of the technical terms or proper techniques, but I know when I hear something special and she doesnt make people feel low brow when she explains things. I think its because she just loves music and really wants to help people understand the intricacies that she loves.

The end with the crying/sweat reminds me of a friend who complains that his "eyes are sweating!". It also reminds me of one of my favourite Alice Cooper ballads, I Never Cry. Teddy Swims does so many covers well - I really like his cover of Billie Eilish's "idontwannabeyouanymore" - a Teddy Bear is one of the Merch options on his website - he is an endearing person, warm and gentle; as someone below suggested, his cover of Chris Stapleton's Tennessee Whiskey is pretty awesome. Do you ever listen to pieces that don't feature a vocalist? I was thinking of Tina S - her guitar version of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata or Steve Vai's "For the Love of God". Even if you didn't react to them, I think you would love seeing her in action at around 16 yrs of age - for your own viewing and listening pleasure.

I hadn't though of this song in easily 20 years but it randomly popped into my head and I think it'd be an incredible analysis. The Lonesome Kicker - by Adam Sandler. Yeah, the mouth-breathers who think they're funny because they can regurgitate movie quotes all obsess over The Hanukkah Song, but The Lonesome Kicker is even funnier - and surprisingly enough Sandler actually shows he can sing.

You might consider listening to Shinedown doing their cover of Lynard Skynard's song "Simple Man". The original is one of my favorite songs of all time and Shinedown did a great job of making it their own while honoring the original.
I appreciate your open mind and the way that you find things to love across diverse genera and styles. Keep up the good work.

That kinda gravel is 100% natural. Think Louis Armstrong, Rod Stewart, Tom Waits. Also listen closely to when he talks at the end. That voice is all natural.
He has the kinda soul in his voice that's rare in a white guy (Glenn Hughes, Mick Hucknell, Marti Pellow being about the only ones I can think of). He actually sounds a lot like and reminds me of Lemar. See th-cam.com/video/OrXB31Znxpk/w-d-xo.html for reference. I love a gorgeous soulful voice like this.

Can you react on this please?
    My lady D'Arbanville
    By Cat Stevens
    This is the lyrics
My lady D'Arbanville, why do you sleep so still?
    I'll wake you tomorrow
And you will be my fill, yes, you will be my fill
My lady D'Arbanville, why does it grieve me so?
But your heart seems so silent
Why do you breathe so low, why do you breathe so low?
My lady D'Arbanville, why do you sleep so still?
    I'll wake you tomorrow
And you will be my fill, yes, you will be my fill
My lady D'Arbanville, you look so cold tonight
    Your lips feel like winter
Your skin has turned to white, your skin has turned to white
My lady D'Arbanville, why do you sleep so still?
    I'll wake you tomorrow
And you will be my fill
My lady D'Arbanville, why do you sleep so still?
    I'll wake you tomorrow
And you will be my fill
I loved you my lady, though in your grave you lie
    I'll always be with you
This rose will never die, this rose will never die
I loved you my lady, though in your grave you lie
    I'll always be with you
This rose will never die, this rose will never die

I am surprised that you hadn't heard him before. I really enjoy his cover of this song and he has an excellent sound for this one and he obviously planned it out in detail. He has a very deep selection of covers and some hit it out of the park while others are okay but not great. I will be waiting to hear your reaction. Love your channel. Another song to check out is Haley Reinhart, "Lay it down". It's just her and an organist. Impressive.

He does a cover of Al Green's Lets stay together, that is off the hook. Stan is one of the lead singers of a group called Brother stone and the get down ..... They do a cover of Players Baby come back that is also great. Thanks for your reactions Liz.
