If you like Teddy, I highly recommend Unaware by Allen Stone Live from his mom's living room. Allen invited Teddy to this like stream concert he does where they do covers and turn them into soulful R&B renditions. Truly underrated and underappreciated artists that deserve to be bigger than they are.
You are completely right his voice is not comparable with anyone in this generation. His female equivalent I would say is Kelly Clarkson she also isn't in a box she doesn't stick to one genre and can sing anything.
