- Just before I release my full review here is some more footage that I shot for it. All shot in 4K at either 50p ot 75p. Lenses were the Canon 70-200mm F2.8 and the 70-300mm EF. Lens adaptor was the Kineenhancer.

Wonderful work. Did you use any NDs on this? I'm torn between getting the Kineenhancer and lens adapter with ND, as I despise juggling lens-mounted NDs between shots.

What is your favorite Film/Look in FilmConvert? If you were to ever describe any LUTs as representative of your style, some what faded look at time, what would they be. At one time I thought you used Deluts a lot.

Nice footage, however is it really too much to ask for a nice medium/close-up head shots? whats with all the back of the head crap? this is of no use to a DP wanting to see how this camera renders skin tones.

I am pretty much new in filmmaking.
At the end hw writes "in 4k 50p and 75p". What does " p" stand for?
P is for progressive, as opposed to I for interlaced. It refers to how the picture fills in vertically. Progressive comes in line after line, and interlaced comes in every other line, then comes back to fill in the skipped lines. Interlaced produces a flicker effect that can be quite unpleasant, so it's not used much anymore other than in some tv broadcasts. Progressive is always better, but at the cost of twice the bandwidth requirements of interlaced.

No, the number before the p (or i) is often the fps, but it depends. You can see these written 2 ways. Like you quoted the number is talking about fps, but you'll also see 720p or 1080p or 2160p - those numbers are talking about the vertical resolution, and aren't referring to the fps at all. It can get confusing, especially with high framerate videos being much easier to create. Some cellphones (!) are able to record 960fps videos, and someone may refer to a 960p video, and while that number is high enough to be mistaken for a resolution, it's actually a framerate. You just need to get used to which numbers are for which use, and how they're being used.

Yes, exactly; you got it. The p always means progressive. The number either represents vertical resolution or fps. You can see combos of resolution and fps as 4K60p (4K resolution, 60fps, progressive).
Hi Philip, just wondering if you could explain how you get such a high quality despite TH-cam compression? Your footage (from any camera, not just the Kinefinity) always seems to look super crisp! What settings do you tend to export with? I use a GH5 but can never get similar TH-cam quality to your GH5 videos were!
Clarity Productions there is no magic settings. My last upload I had a nightmare with and I am still not happy with.
Also note that you will get a better picture viewing 2160p even if you have a 1080p display because TH-cam allows a higher bitrate for 2160p uploads.

No doubt, but audience is very limited on Vimeo compared to TH-cam, as you know. Everyone does what they can. *shrug* I think your use of music more than offsets YT's compression issues as regards storytelling; it's just pixel peeping and judging absolute image quality for the purposes of evaluating equipment that really suffers.

Fivos Vassiliou what a way of wording if! you make it sound seedy! If someone asks you not to be filmed you respect that. If you are filming in public land you can film whatever or whomever you want as long as it is not commercial.
she asked me ... i said ''yes'' .. then she said ''are you going to put me on youtube?" i said.. "you want?" " and then she said "depends"
