Stumbled across your channel by accident, binge watched from the start and so glad I did. Two lovely people, lovely boat and producing really good videos already. Looking forward to following your amazing journey wherever it may take you. Finally, it's so good to see you both wearing lifejackets every time you sail. Too many people thing they're invincible!! Stay safe, T

Thank you so much for your kind words! The trick is to get well fitting lifejackets that you don't even notice while wearing 😁 clipping in when doing shifts/foredeck work and MOB AIS makes it relatively safe to handle the boat dual handed.

We always have a good pace with us 😉 more talking in part 2, when the vomit and nerves calmed down.

Im planning to sail from Sweden to Spain in November, not through the canals though. So Im wondering if it would be like yours? if it would be not worse than you showed on your video, then I think I could manage.. please let me know, any advice or guiding would be appreciated. Thanks and take care! =)

hey T84948, if the conditions are like ours you will manage just fine :) however: once you get into October the depressions over the atlantic start to form, we wanted to cross in the end of september but we got caught out by a covid infection on board, halting our departure. After that we saw an endless string of depressions that lasted for months. So the window we took was not ideal, but it was our best option given the season. So in short: not impossible, but the bay does not adhere to your sailing schedule in fall/winter ;) also keep in mind a depression will leave the crossing with dangerous waves for days after strong winds die, making the windows even shorter. So my advice: if you can speed up the english channel part, then I would definately do so.

    Awful soundtrack. Good content though.
