10 feet and shallower, I like to use a 1/8th oz. sinker UNPEGGED even in grass. I get a lot of hits on the initial fall with a free weight. When there is not any grass, I like to let the ultravibe sink all the way to the bottom, then slow roll it while letting the worm tick the bottom.

Nathan, if you rig the worms sideways and not line the tail up with the hook it will give you more thump. Just something I’ve learned and maybe it will help

Nathan are you using the 733 or 734 Fury? Also would a 6 speed reel be better for fall time if the bites are slacking, or is this strictly a strong spring/summer technique? Thanks for the video, love the content✊🏼🤘
I was using the 734 the 733 is a little light for this technique! I always use a 7 speed reel no matter the season just because it picks up slack faster. Thanks!

Hey sorry I didn’t realize you were also a western PA fisherman. That’s cool so am I. Have you ever used these zoom speed worms around here? If so any luck? I usually use Berkeley power worms but always lookin to try new stuff.
They absolutely work anywhere there is shallow grass!
