It's actually a 2903-9102, surface mount strobe plate. The 9002 is the light plate variant. 9101 - flush mount strobe plate, 9001 - flush mount light plate
Hey buddy what’s up sorry I haven’t talk to u for a long time but dude I love the whole system exspeally the March time it’s my favorite coding for fire alarms :)
@@BlackLightning4547 oh yea I can’t wait to see your new system test oh and subscribe to my TH-cam channel and ull get to see my fire 🔥 alarm system test with the simplex 4903-9254 and the est genesis horn strobe on hi vol on code3
I'll say, and it's hard to explain, but the Amseco BZ-51-PC2 is not as harsh or bold on how it delivers its sound compared to the Simplex 2901-9838 mechanical horn. They're different but similar
That's awesome! It's pretty simple to setup. You'll need some wiring(preferably 18 gage, solid or stranded works) to connect the devices with and a power source to power them. The power source can be an AC to DC wall adapter, three 9 volt batteries put in series, or a power supply. I'm assuming the alarms used are 24 volts DC, so you want to get a power source that provides that. Depending on how many alarms there are, and the kind of horn strobes(mechanical, electronic, etc.), the 9 volt batteries may not be sufficient for the task due to their low amperage, plus you'll have to get new ones overtime as they get used, so a wall adapter or power supply is your best bet. Now, as far as wiring, here's a video that I did years ago of how to wire a pullstation to an alarm. th-cam.com/video/b2Ac9U8a8d8/w-d-xo.html Hope this is enough information for you to get started, please comment here if you have anymore questions.
@@BlackLightning4547 Ooh thank you so much! I’m going to work on getting these things and check out the video you shared, and let you know if I have questions. ❤️
Yes, it's fried chicken on a RSS, it's an inside joke as someone commented that I should mount fried chicken on a RSS on a requested system test video.
I used to be the same way in elementary school, but now I'm not because first of all, they're not loud to me anymore, secondly, I find them quite interesting
Fire alarms are nothing to be scared of. Sure, some can be very loud, but that's the point. The point is to notify you effectively that's there's a fire emergency in the building and that you should evacuate. My suggestion is to listen to fire alarm videos on low volume, then slowly build up, and/or, purchase one. Start with a strobe, then a chime strobe or speaker strobe, then a horn strobe or bell strobe. Get comfortable and get a feel for it, and who knows, you might find it interesting.
That sounds like safetech's fire alarm test 62! Although you got the same pitches, but different horns. There were the same pitches and 4051 horns. And the electronic horn was a wheelock AS set in code 3 while the rest were in continuous. The EHS-DL1 doesn't have a jumper for code 3 or continuous probably.
@@BlackLightning4547 yeah you have a cooler system! I didn't know that an AES-DL1-RH-24-VFR can't be coded. I was correct on my guess though. And the alarm in the hallway looks old. @@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernIL I don't know if I particularly made a video of that alarm but I know I did an all tones test on my Wheelock MT-24-MCW which has the same tones as the MT-24-LSM. If they were all mechanical horns, and set to continuous, instead of having these new crickets on steroids, the fire alarm system would sound lovely, scarier, harmonious, and bring back the good old days of my childhoods 80’s and 90s school days. Good video tho; and understandable, that those old Simplex horns are hard to come by.
Thank you. Yeah, the evolution of fire alarms and fire alarm systems is mindboggling.
