This is a regular house that I installed a fire alarm system in. It was first a demonstration system only covering a couple rooms upstairs but was recently expanded to downstairs. It still doesn't cover all rooms of the house(because of my mother), but it covers most.
The only thing more obnoxious than a bunch of horns on slow whoop, is a bunch of horns on siren lol! Does make for a pretty unique sound when they’re being coded tho
A Kidde SM120X Relay module is interconnected to the smokes and the N.O contacts of it are attached to a Simplex IAM configured as a fire monitor zone. You can set it up this way, but instead use a Fire-Lite MMF.
Probably not, because the 18AWG wire I'm using is not rated for them. The amperage of them alone would melt the wires, and since they're encased in PVC, that's just a house fire waiting to happen. The wire is sufficient for low voltage and amperage, and that's what I intended.
@@BlackLightning4547 well you could just use multiple wires, or use low power low voltage AC horns, such as a 4050 or 4030 (do they even consume lots of current?)
@@ToothlessThedragon9 Code 3 makes them sound like a whoop, sure, doesn't change the fact that they're technically set on the siren tone, the whoop tone sounds different.
How is almost no one talking about that fire intro 🔥
Thank you, glad you like it, there have been comments made about it saying mostly the same thing.
It’s funny how two of the alarms sound like birds
For real though
I thought it sounded like a bird high on weed
lol

I'm glad you like the upgrades
@@BlackLightning4547 I'm one of Teckkid331's friend. Used to do a lot of things with him in 2023.
Yo
@@KEFAalarmsandmore Nice 👍🏼
I absolutely love this channel
@@Lifesafetyequipmentguy I'm glad you're enjoying the content
Very cool! Like the alarms on Whoop!
Thank you, whoop is a good tone too.
Are you sure this isn't a regular house fitted with so many fire alarms? This is wild.

I like the smoke alarm interconnect! First time I've seen that or a Pyrotronics / Faraday MC in a system test!
There's a first for everything 😏
Firework sound effects 11:34
Kinda does
The one in the garage sounds like a hawk 😂😂😂
A little bit
Sounds like a house security alarm system. ADT.
For sure!

Cool video!!!
Thank you!
10:18 did u just tap off the red wire in the back i have a few smokes and i could definitely hook it up to my ms9050ud panel

Will you ever do AC horns? If ya know how to (no offense)
Probably not, because the 18AWG wire I'm using is not rated for them. The amperage of them alone would melt the wires, and since they're encased in PVC, that's just a house fire waiting to happen. The wire is sufficient for low voltage and amperage, and that's what I intended.
@@BlackLightning4547 don't you have thicker wire like 14, or maybe 12 AWG?
@@HydraBOOM120 Not enough to wire a whole system.

Your system tests have more diversity in terms of devices after the extension.
@@KEFAalarmsandmore Interesting
Would it beat system test 48? Probably close
I think ST 48 still beats this setup, but it's close
ngl the intro is fire (im not saying it in a joke tho)

The fire alarms are pretty bada##

Its doing whoop
