Hey Alex, carry a good PTFE spray & do all your linkage & pivot points before you ride & especially after you wash your bike, just keep it away from your rotors.
Man that trail was making you work real hard for it! For the life of me I can’t figure out what’s causing that squeak in your bicycle. I kept trying to figure it out throughout the whole video. I think Joe was particularly impressive when he stuck that landing on that thin edge by the tree. That last attempt he did was so perfect. I mean really he couldn’t have done it more perfectly!! That trail kind of seems as though it was very unique and that guy who is working on it should be commended on such a wonderful job. It looks like a very challenging trail and looks like a good place for people to develop their skills. The people who work on the trails are just angels! Hopefully one day I’ll be able to go out and work on some of these trails and learn the art of trail making. Right now I contribute money to trails in my area and they really appreciate it but I don’t really feel like I’ve done very much until I get out and actually help work on building them. I’m a little scared to because I feel like now I would be more of a hindrance than a help to them.

But at 6:32 where y'all where having a session on the burms. Was that off of Drunken monkey. Planning my ride for when I go out there soon.

You should come check out the trails at Oak Mountain State Park in Birmingham Alabama. Over 22 miles of well maintained trails. We have green lines all the way to black diamonds. I would love to get a chance to ride with you and there are a lot of riding craft brewery’s opening up in the Birmingham area.
Hey sampler, if you are ever in Ontario Canada, check out some trails called "The Hydrocut". I mean you have probably rod some better trails, but they are the best in Ontario so. And they are awesome.
I barely missed you at baker creek preserve fall fest. I had to leave sooner than expected due to the fact that i broke my front forkd on the concrete pump track
I just put some bright green reflective tape on otherwise black rims, at the valve openings. The tire can do its own thing. (Still waiting. NBD hopefully tomorrow.)
Alex, check your pivot bearings. I know you don't typically ride in the wet like we do up here in Bellingham buy I be had my Release 2 for less than a year and my front bottom bearings were completely seized and the squeaking I had was from the axle rubbing. Also, there is a tolerance issue on the upper front pivot being really tight. Hard to place the axle back in without a newer tapered axle. Not sure if the carbon addressed that issue. I recommend regreasing every moving part on that thing.
You're definitely under the microscope doing any maintenance on camera. I had to put a disclaimer up at the beginning of mine that I have no idea what I'm doing 🙈

I think the noise from your bike comes from the linkge and one of the bearings is damaged or doesnt have enough grease in it
You can acctually open half the tailgate on the Range Rover Sport so you don't need that tilting bike rack lol
