Troll on the west side of Santos is my favorite. So many unique Florida trail choices! Great video idea, thanks for your content!
Definitely getting back to santos. I love John brown! But let me give troll a go!🤘🏻
Winter is perfect for this section of Santos. Ross Prairie to Ern N Burn to Troll. Cheers!
This kind of videos are more useful tham a bunch of other videos where some people just show themself riden in the trails , thanks for your time and dedication 👍
Thanks so much I appreciate that. Nobody wants to stop and get off their bikes. I don’t mind it😃
Grapefruit bike trails in Palm Bay is a lot of fun if you haven’t tried it I’d recommend checking it out
I’ve been there a few times 😜
Thanks for just riding it, and stopping to point out sections. Good content
Thanks so much! I really do enjoy doing it🤘🏻
Bro Twisted Sister is awesome. I do Alafaya twice a week and Twisted Sister is always part of my regular route of trail segments leading right into Magic Island. I think it’s the best combo in the park. Great video
Thanks dude! Alafia is such a great place to ride!!
Really great video. I’ve been there a couple of times. I ride almost every morning but my choice of trails is not overly difficult having gotten a knee replacement recently. Thanks for the vid.
😃🤘🏻
Ridgeline at Balm Boyette. Prickly Pear at JD
I think Ridgeline almost has to be on that list!! Prickly pear is Kate’s favorite! 🤘🏻
Yeah ridgeline is such a great loop. Prickly Pear has something for everyone. A beginner can do it and if you have more skill, you can make some of the obstacles seem way bigger and more fun than they are.
Half pipe is also one of my favorites at JD, but it's super short. Maybe of you combine the skinnies, with half pipe and the table top sessions, then you have another great section.
Ridgeline is closed now? Look abandoned last time I was there 3-4 months ago
JD has been going downhill... No trail maintenance at all!
Nice to watch this, im headed to Florida for Thanksgiving and rented a bike to ride Alafia on the friday after Thanksgiving! Cheers
You will love it, Kate and I might be there that day😃
I'll hit you up if you don't mind. Would be nice to ride with someone that knows the trails.
Your Mom at Carter Rd, technical, has some jumps and probably one of the hardest finishes.
Great video. Ridgeline at Boyette is, in my opinion, the best single track trail segment in the state. 1.8 mile option that is guaranteed to test your fitness and tell you where it stacks. I can't think of another trail that can do that...maybe Moonscape, before it was made to be a flow track or jump line, or Rollercoaster which is always a fun rip. Twisted Sister is a great segment, as is Magic Island, but I like to categorize that in to "North Creek with the hard options". I saw Gun Range at Markham in the comments, which is super fun, and Graham Swamp is a fun loop too...Santos has a ton of fun loops, like Vortex or Nayles, but I don't think anything gets the HR going like Ridgeline. Also, it only used to open twice a year but Hailes Trails is a good one.
You are spot on! I love ridgeline. Ride it a few times back to back on a pedal back and you’ll be whipped. I do think my favorite trail in Florida is Gatorback at Alafia. Although it’s short has tons packed in to it!!!🤘🏻
@@kfivemtb yea, years ago that was the most technical trail Alafia had, and was guaranteed to put you to the test. It’s evolved a lot over the years. 🤘
Gatorback at Alafia has a good variety of features. And still possible on my BMX race bike.
It the best single trail in Florida. 🤘🏻
Muscogee just outside Pensacola is one to watch, all volunteer built, lots of punchy climbs and fun downhills, rocky, some good flow trail and freeride sections being bought. By spring 15 miles plus.
Definitely want to check it out! Thanks
Hi… visit North Port. Three trails here. My trail is Hillsborough, and then there’s the Environmental state park, and the oldest and toughest trail… PBR (high school trails)
My favorite Florida trail though, is CRP in Alva
Wow I haven’t ridden any of those! I’ll do some research and see if I can get on it!!
The North Port trails are just some cool local trails… we are off exit 179 Toledo blade. Below our trails there’s CRP In Alva (north Fort Myers(awesome state park)). Then further south in Naples there’s a couple local trails. That’s it south of Tampa on this side of Florida. Usually riders south of us ride CRP or our trails rather than making the trip up to Tampa area trails.
West Cadillac, Lafayette heritage park and Munson Hills in Tallahassee! A few good mentions
I’ll check them out thanks!!
It's amazing that there are great trails in Florida but ppl have to be creative which is grate ..... sound like you've fixed the wind noise on the GoPro 11
I had to shove extra layer of thin foam underneath the foam cover in the mic area’s. It’s a pain
@@kfivemtb bugger
If you are down south east….make sure you check out the new and improved Quiet Waters. Sister park to Markham….fresh rework, super fast and flowy….giant wallride.😎. I work on the team, happy to tour you.
Thanks so much I will definitely reach out when we can head down!
Carter Road (Loyce E Harpe Park) .. 3 Fingers in the back (1st, 2nd, 3rd Finger), Cannonball Run (Double Black), Your Mom (Double Black) ... All solid and unique trails. Absolutely love Carter and those make some fun ass riding
It’s amazing how good the Florida riding is🤘🏻
Grapefruit trails is non stop great riding. Super nice features. literally describe it like a rollercoaster park for bikes. So flowy that you dont have even peddle much and is super shaded everywhere. My top spot, even though its far from me, it is beyond worth the drive.
I couldn’t agree with you more! And I live 5 minutes from it😃
Funny how different places have different expectations like here in New England we don't even rate lots of the trails unless maybe on TF but it's not marked ... And it's definitely often more intense that anything in Florida but I did have fun at Santos even so
Jonathan Dickinson!! JD is a blast. Surprised that hasn't been mentioned yet.
Overall JD is my favorite. The best flow, solid jumps & tech. The only thing holding it back is the lack of shade. Alafia is definitely my second favorite, then Santos
What’s you favorite trail at JD? Alafia? And santos? My favorite at Alafia is gatoback, and at santos it’s John Brown. Gimme the trail names you like😃
@@kfivemtb JD - Ranger & Bunker. Rangers flow & Bunkers tech:) Alafia - Lost Meadow jump line, Santos - Indigo Flow!
I think gatorback has a spot in this conversation, so fun everything from flow, to tech, to jump lines all wrapped into one. What's not to love?
In my opinion it’s the best single trail in Florida!!!
Mt Dora because it’s diversity in a relatively small park. Lots of flow and elevation changes
Mt Dora is awesome! Also a great downtown 😃 we have never made a video there. It’s on the short list! Thanks
Alligator Alley @ Markham park might be my #1
Definitely Top 5, imo too.🤙, 😎
Ain't easy to get 1up on Alafia unless bring Razorback back. VK on Key Biscayne, Miami my top 5
Cool. Looks like a trip to Virginia Key is gonna have to happen🤘🏻
@@kfivemtb most unique trail rides I've done.
Virginia key. Cant remember the double black diamond trail in the back. Someone help me out. Later has a trail called panama. You have to try it. Let me know if you come down to Miami I will ride it with you.
Will do, probably come down this fall!!
Graham swamp
Great place never disappoints! Especially after a nice hard rain😃
Graham Swamp!
Great place! Perfect right after a solid rain!
While Ft. Pierce does not flow as well as JD, it has lots of great hills and is technically challenging.
I’ll have to check it out. Others have said the same😃
Vortex is cool too
The new jump line at alafia.
I don't know what it's called
If I remember correctly it’s the lost meadow. Very fun!
IMO Moonscape at Alafia is the best in Florida. Second is Santos Vortex loop. Third is Blacksnake (high point) Markham Park. Fourth is Virginia Key’s Panama. Fifth, Little Razorback at Amelia Earheart.
You may be spot on with those. But where does gatorback fit in? It so good!!!!
@@kfivemtb I like flowy better than the extremes tech of gator back tbh. Risk reward these days. Yes it is good though!!
Moonscape Alafia.
Such a good trail! Recently been improved as well!!🤘🏻
Hanna park Jacksonville FL 3 trails will test you skills
Never been there! I’m going to look into getting up there, thanks so much😃
Hi there, what hubs you have ?
Profile elite I a touch less engagement than the I 9 hydra. But I think the profile is better quality
John Brown, ant hill, and raddle snake
Love. John Brown!😃
#1 Shoreline (pre 2020)
Heck yeah! We need to bring it back to its former glory!!!!!!!
th-cam.com/video/B_cXsXZhyiI/w-d-xo.html
Balm Boyette, and Alafia river are good
They are excellent 🤘🏻😃
Hi! Have you tried Oleta River State Park MTB trails?
I have never ridden there, How is it??
@@kfivemtb The last time I rode there was more than ten years ago and it was awesome. I never came back after I fell forward and a stick went through my cheek almost piercing it. I pulled it out and then I notice another one through my neck.. yeah, that one was scary. LOL!! However, that's not the reason I didn't go back. It's a bit far from me now.
I've seen on video the improvements they have done and it's even better now. Try it one day if you have the chance. Hopefully I can go one day again! I heard on one video that it's $6 to go in, but I'm not sure. It's a bit high compared to Markham Park $1.50. Take care 🙂
@johnrodriguez8253 you’re luck to be alive!!!😜 glad you’re ok. I’ll check it out when winter gets going
Most technical Loyce E. Harpe Park former Carter Rd.
For sure!!!!
Grape fruit
If you like jumping it’s for sure the best!!!!
RedBug or Cadillac in Tallahassee!
Never been there! I’ll get there😃
What part of Florida ? 😬
Anywhere in Florida 😃
Are you still working on this? (5 best in FL) I just saw your video for the first time today…. But this was 8 months ago…
It’s been so hard with the crazy weather and all the rain! Every time I try to film trail is wet! I do plan to finish it. I also tore my rotator cuff!!! Feeling better now
@@kfivemtb Ohh damn! Sorry to hear, but glad it’s better! What did you have to do for it? I dealt with bursitis in my left shoulder last year…. Now I’m dealing with pain in my right one. 😩
@@norman2359 not much you can do. I’ve been trying to strengthen the muscles surrounding the shoulder. Getting old stinks!!!
Bunker hill, JD
Very good trail!!!!🤘🏻
Mount dora, 5 miles, of actual mountain
Great trail system, awesome downtown area as well😃🤘🏻
Yo momma at Markham
That’s definitely up there!!!
Your Mom at Carter Road
Great choice!
Graham Swamp Trail rocks (also hit Mala Compra nearby)
5136 Colbert Ln, Palm Coast, FL 32137
Great trails. I love the cloud 9 section 🤘🏻
Gun Range at Markham... Ern and Burn west of Santos...
Caloosahatchee! Virginia Key!
What trail in Virginia key???
