    Here’s a trick for winding it, run your index finger UNDER the crown, along the side of your finger. It’s easier than actually trying to grip it, because of the semi-recessed crown.

      Great tip! I tried it today and speeds up the winding time significantly! Cheers and thanks!

      @@instantalpha1484 thanks. I learned that winding an old Mark 2 speedy, the crown in those is even harder to use than the Pro. Now all you have to worry about is the thumb smudge on the crystal.

    Great points regarding the exhibition case back, especially how little you actually look at it while on the bracelet. I’ve never heard that before. Wear in good health -

    This is a strap monster, you want to see the movement swap out the bracelet...too damn heavy and you'll really enjoy swapping straps for variety--like a new watch each time 👍😁

      I like the weight :) But absolutely, looking for straps as we speak. I have the black nato but looking for a brown leather strap.

    You’ve hit the best parts about owning a mechanical watch. Last but not least, when you’re gone, your watch can live on through someone else. Try that smart watch…

    • @instantalpha1484
      @instantalpha1484  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a great point and absolutely I will hand it on, there's also something special about watches that have spent some time on someone's wrist and has gone through major life milestones or experienced a decent bit of life. The stories it could tell ...

    I really think you should consider the hesalite version.... the hesalite is warm, clear and gives an amazing stunning distortion when you move the watch to the side.. also the solid case back gives that timeless study feel and feels less tacky than see through.... just my opinion of course but please try that hesalite. You won't regret it

    I've never noticed that clicking sound until you mentioned it

      It's very subtle and I really enjoy it. Glad I could bring it up!

      Clicking sounds?? Yes all mechanical watches can be heard ticking away. Strange that this was not "expected"?? Like someone never heard a mechanical watch tick before?

    • @kirkdyer89
      @kirkdyer89 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@truxton1000 Yes, we know they make ticking sounds, on this particular watch the movement is very quiet.

    The new watches bracelet is available separately. $736 after TX tax Love it Wasn’t wearing the watch before and kept it as a safe Queen. The old bracelet made it sorta not my style. I did the same with my SMP and swapped the bracelet for the Ti bracelet from the new Bond watch. The bracelets I replaced worked fine on the Planet Oceans. IMHO !!
