Yes, a very nice ride. Bike in that condition should be preserved as close as possible to original condition, they are rare old gems.

I really enjoyed the series on this bike. To me it doesn't get any better than a 60s XLCH. Thanks for doing this. Question: Seeing that the XLCH models didn't come with an oil filter wouldn't a spin-on set up piped in to the front left motor mount be a good idea?
Anyway, this is by far the best channel for the Ironhead guys. Keep 'em coming!

no need, not if you follow the suggested 1500 mile oil change interval suggested in the owners manual

tinman7130 makes a good point, but an oil filter can't hurt. HD did equip the XLHs with an in-tank filter.
