I rode a V8 with a manual clutch, a V6 with the 2 speed semi automatic, and a V8 57 trike with the 3 speed fully automatic 3 different years at Sturgis. The trike was the most fun by far. If you grab a lot of throttle standing still, the rear suspension would extend like a drive shaft bike so violently the rear wheels would hop off the ground, and come back down at three thousand RPM for a wild smoking fishtail launch kind of like hanging on to a rocket. Quite a thrill ride. I would never try that an a 2 wheeler, but the trike was fun as hell. I still want one, but they are very expensive now. Plus, I'm young anymore, I'll stick to my Harley.

When I hit the pedal my truck twists a little kinda like this one. Interesting & I like seeing it ; thanks for all of that but I don't really wanna ride one. Thanks for the video Sir. peace & GB ALL
I rode the motorcycle & the trike with my wife. My wife loved the trike which was so smooth on the highway. The only complaint I have is that it puts out a lot of heat and the fumes of an automobile engine.
Should be easier to ride with a power glide Trans. So you can concentrate on riding rather than up shifting and down shifting. Maybe they should make more of the large bikes with automatic transmissions, riding, cruising probably would be more enjoyable, when your not cramping up your calf and shin shifting those gears continusly.
I can imagine that it's a great bike for long highway runs in a large country, but I spoke with a guy who had one at the Ace Cafe in London (near England which is a foggy little island near Europeland.....) and this guy said it was totally impractical here as it has no ground clearance so cornering was hard work. He also said fuel consumption was awful ( our fuel costs roughly twice what you pay) and though it went well in straight lines it was unrideable really due to our strict 70mph limit (less on non-highway type roads) and for that reason he was selling it at a loss because it was the biggest mistake of his life buying it !

My buddy just bought a 2005 honda goldwing and it has the same grips. they are comfortable. I want to see somebody do a motorcycle course with one of these.
Just wear earplugs on a bike all the time. Then it doesn't matter how loud it is. And you'll save your hearing as well. I always wear earplugs when riding.
If you have to wear earplugs, then just like in most other situations (concert, movie, equipment), whatever is generating the noise is too loud...and if that device is under your control, then it's unreasonable and selfish to subject others to that noise for extended periods of time. A naked sportbike ridden at high speeds does justify wearing earplugs though...preferably on a track if you want to ride *that* fast.
My bike isn't loud. But you will definitely need earplugs if you don't want suffer from premature hearing loss. Noise canceling air pods work great too if they don't fall out when you put your helmet on.
@@sunsetoriginals7320 It seems to me that in most of the western world, bikers, from harleys to sports and adventure bikes, even some goldwingers, remove their factory baffles or change their pipes altogether and generally like to hear their engines grunt, spit and cackle and to be heard by others. I'm in the minority, I believe, because I think the quieter my bike is the better. When you consider that the laws in theory mostly limit their volume to around 70 or 80 decibels...I think it's pretty clear almost no one complies with, nor enforces, those laws. I've been riding for around 40 years, my current two 1990s bikes have full fairings and high windshields, I've always worn an open-face helmet, ride slightly above the speed limit in town and slightly under it on the highway, very often these days wear hearing protection at concerts or movies because I think the sound levels there are nuts while most other people don't seem to mind, but I don't usually wear them on the bikes, unless maybe I'm going to be on the highway for a relatively long ride. One of my bikes currently even has a small rust hole in the exhaust collector and yet it's still nowhere near as noisy as many other bikes I hear on the road and when I'm at highway speeds, say 3000 rpm, the extra rumble from that hole fades into the background. With all that in mind, I can't help but imagine that what you describe as your not loud bike, while maybe less noisy than some others, might in fact nevertheless be *relatively* noisy too, particularly since you bring up the notion of hearing loss. Not trying to argue with you, just bring a sense of perspective to the idea of what's noisy and what isn't. I know in the car world there are plenty of people with non-factory exhausts, but in terms of numbers, the vast majority of cars, including hugely powerful and fast or sporty ones, have very discreet exhaust notes...which, unlike so many bikes, you wouldn't hear going through their gears a couple of miles down the road while you're sitting quietly in your garden. That so many bikers feel they have to make more noise to get enjoyment out of their rides is disheartening to me. If you're 18 years old and having a blast, then fine, have at it and I'll bite my tongue, but otherwise, just give it a rest people please? (Ok boomer)
It is the wind noise that will cause the hearing loss. Not the noise of the bike. I can't even hear my engine when travelling on the highway. 90% of my riding is at highway speeds. I wear a full face helmet. My bike has a relatively small windshield. I used to have a gold wing and even wore hearing protection with that bike and it had a full fairing. You may not notice but the wind noise will definitely do damage over time to your hearing. Ear plugs cut all the wind noise out but you can still hear what you need to. Just like at a concert. It cuts all the distortion and you can actually hear the band better with them.
I am 80 as of July 2024 and you say you are getting old? You are middle age. By the way only 3% of men make it to 80, so you have a 97% chance of not making it to 80, how about that. Just trying to make you feel good. I ride a 2023 Honda Monkey perfect for my really old bones and hopefully a few more. Good video and like that ride.
I agree that someone could definitely get into trouble on a 1000cc sport bike. It seems like a completely different buyer. While I agree with you about discouraging beginners to buy a 1000cc sport bike as their first bike is a bad idea. I also think that most people doing that would probably have problems regardless of whatever bike they buy. At low rpms 1000cc sport bike is very tame. You cannot get on a bike and go wot without knowing what will happen and it will be fine like most cars. Again not that I completely disagree. The sport bike will also stop better and handle better.

that's what I have. When I hit the pedal my truck twists a little kinda like this one. Interesting & I like seeing it ; thanks for
all of that but I don't really wanna ride one. Thanks for the video Sir. peace & GB ALL
I rode the motorcycle & the trike with my wife. My wife loved the trike which was so smooth on the highway.
The only complaint I have is that it puts out a lot of heat and the fumes of an automobile engine.
How much does it weigh.
There is a corvette powered chopper for sale in Houston Texas right now on fb marketplace, thing looks sick!
No 0-60? You left it all on the table 😁
No speedo.
I highly doubt it's a 600 hp naturally aspirated a stock GM 346 late model 5.7 is around 330 horse
I am surprised to hear Boss Hoss is still in business. That is cool.
Question don’t know if you can help me out I’m looking for a petcock for a Suzuki 850 L and I’m just having a lot of troubles finding one didn’t know if there’s anything you could do for me.
Always wanted one but with a tilting motor works front trike conversion
I've been subscribed to bikes and beards for a while. Didn't know this channel existed...
Low cost of maintenance - tires???
My buddy just bought a 2005 honda goldwing and it has the same grips. they are comfortable. I want to see somebody do a motorcycle course with one of these.
Yeah they're 20 bucks on Amazon
Just wear earplugs on a bike all the time. Then it doesn't matter how loud it is. And you'll save your hearing as well. I always wear earplugs when riding.
If you have to wear earplugs, then just like in most other situations (concert, movie, equipment), whatever is generating the noise is too loud...and if that device is under your control, then it's unreasonable and selfish to subject others to that noise for extended periods of time. A naked sportbike ridden at high speeds does justify wearing earplugs though...preferably on a track if you want to ride *that* fast.
@@nicknelson9450Anything that goes over 80 km/h for longer than a few minutes is earplugs for me. Too much wind noise.
That small block sound on a bike is incredible
My favorite was the Flathead Ford iteration.. Hate these gas tanks on here. You might like them. The Ford was very compact.
2:07 Why there is a little bell under the bike ?
Gremlin bell kind of a superstitious thing
@@BigWigaCustoms Ah ok i first thought it was something to warn you that your V8 is tipping over 😄
These are great videos sean
@6:54… wow, you are not wrong. Well done! 😂😂😂
I grew up right down the street from boss boss and went to school with his daughter! Wooo almost famous. Haha
Why not a LS or 1uz Lexus? it would be way lighter or a aluminum Buick v8 from the 60s it would make it far more drivable
A video about a V8-powered cruiser bike sponsored by a debt management consulting firm, I see what you did there 😂
I am 80 as of July 2024 and you say you are getting old? You are middle age. By the way only 3% of men make it to 80, so you have a 97% chance of not making it to 80, how about that. Just trying to make you feel good. I ride a 2023 Honda Monkey perfect for my really old bones and hopefully a few more. Good video and like that ride.
Im confused kind of, is it not Bikes and Beards? Or is it just two different channels?
Hey when did you get your motorcycle license age
If you ever sell that thing. I'm 6'5 320 and look like the fat guy in the tricycle on anything less than an 1800 😂😂
The Boss hoss fits big dudes perfectly! It's so big in person.
Can you source Honda Rune Brother?
What kind of gas mileage do they get?
Coolest moped I have ever seen!
There was a twin v8 twin supercharged nos one at turkey rod run years ago
Had individual super trap pipes and bunch of nos bottles
Great demo. Thanks!
I've seen a few in person. Ugliest bike I ever saw. That tank and radiator/fan - almost brought up my lunch.
They suck to ride and are geared terribly
O dear! Poor soul
@@wigletron2846have you ridden one?
I saw a BossHoss trike in Stuttgart Arkansas. It looked pretty cool 😎
I would rather get a Rocket 3
Even a late gen V-Max. These stupid things new are north of $65k.
the new 2500 Rocket is a big improvement over the first gen. I'm not tall and I fit nicely on it even though it's a big bike.
There’s a lot of bikes I would pick over a Boss Hoss.
A Rocket 3, V-Max, M109r, Vrod, ect.
Boss Hosses are novelties and extremely overpriced.
I really want a 6.7L Powerstroke Boss Hoss. It's so outrageous that this is probably the only company that could pull it off.
I'd Love to Ride that Beast. I would find it Strange not to be Shifting though.
It would be so cool if someone made a new 2024 V8 motorcycle with todays design and features. Would be awesome.
Incredible Motorcycle for a very small Market.
needs a taller cruising gear . maybe a 3 speed with a lower gear and a super tall cruising gear.
Looks like you have ether a seat bolt or something hitting that rear tyer 😮wearing a nice line in the middle.
I'd be more interested if the fit and finish were better on these. I'm sure it's still quite an experience though.
Its like a tailer that looks like a bike
They are gross
What? No turn signal lights? Why??
What’s the wheel hp???
240 to the wheel and 440tq
Seems like a great way to pick up a 350 crate engine if you can find one of these cheap
An active exhaust will fix the noise issue
