It's absurd to have a 10 speed transmission in a small pickup truck. Also CP4 Bosch diesel HP pumps failure a big issue on Cummins,Ford and GM now. Best to put the filter kits on before $13000+ damage occurs. Two just went bad here on fleet trucks.. Low sulfur diesel fuel wipes pump cam and rollers out sending metal chips into entire fuel system. Also 6.2 GM AFM we have one where the plastic timing chain tensioner broke jammed chain and gears skipped time bent valves . Just letting people know.. Excellent work Hiram I have TQ shudder issues in my Chevy Van express 1500 4L60e 2003. Can I disconnect the PWM wire to disable TQ lock up?
I have a video on 4L60e lockup issues. 2 of them. One early and one late. You have the late. You will need to drop the valve body to do the repair. You will be converting it to ON-OFF from PWM.
@AutomaticTransmission Damm, that's too bad for me. I have one that is shifting hard between 1st and 2nd, so I checked the accumulators for broken springs. All are fine and will replace all the piston O-rings if they are leaking by them. Two of The metal tubes that go to the accumulators were not staked in firmly. Could they not have been sealing properly to cause harsh shifting problems. Thanks for any advice.
The owner of the truck is a hot shot delivery on heavy items. I don't believe the weight was the issue. I am more inclined on the tuner he has on the truck. I've seen " bad tunes " destroy these units. Could've been a combination of both, I'm more inclined to the latter.

What caused the clutch hub to break?
Was that from like a neutral drop at high rpm or something that looks like the trans exploded
