You can buy a decent mid size 30 footer brand new for 250k ish from a few decent brands, Beneteau and a few others, many good boats have come to market at reasonably good prices, i'm surprised these can still hold this kind of value, used boat market is still crazy high for prices! Madness
It is the new prices as much as anything driving the used market and making residuals so high, I'm not sure I agree on the £250k comment to compare with this boat, the Beneteau GT 41 is probably the closest to compare in that range and inc VAT and a few toys that is now C£480k/£500k. I would rather have an older British boat with low hours for less than half the cost but that is of course personal preferences etc :-) Really appreciate you taking the time to comment, debate is always good and different views, demand still very high on these, we had 3 offers on her very quickly and hoping to complete the sale in the next few weeks.
